On a warm sunny day in Tucson we wanted to have a lunch that was different and not at a chain restaurant. We spotted Trident Grill II on Swan and decided to try it. The open covered patio area was very inviting on such a lovely day. The menu had a great selection of sandwiches, burgers and salads. Our waitress was warm and friendly and very attentive to my multiple food allergies and made sure cooky was aware of them. The food was served promptly and hot and our tea glasses were kept full. The food was delicious and the portions were VERY generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Trident Grill and will eat there again and would highly recommend.
When in Tucson, I always make it a point to go to Trident and really enjoyed the same character but new atmosphere of Trident II. Food is just as amazing and had a wonderful and friendly crowd. Highly recommend!!
Lots of TVs, large portions (meals), great attentive service from friendly staff. Our larger group all enjoyed their meals and most left with leftovers. They have a large covered outdoor seating area (with lots of tvs) that we chose to use. They have large fans that keep the air moving and heaters for dining when it's cooler. My son and I had burgers. 👍🏻👍🏻 Our youngest daughter enjoyed sliders from her kids' menu and got crayons to draw with on her menu.

I have visited this Excellent eatery, sports bar, and gathering place many times, so this review is long overdue. I knew after my first visit here that this welcoming establishment would be my go to venue for cheering on my U of A Wildcats and enjoying tasty food. My reasons for continuing to visit comprise a LONG list:
1. The owner of the Trident restaurants is a Navy Seal and avid Washington Redskin fan;
2. Samantha, the Hostess, has always been accommodating to our seating requests and my girlfriend and I are ALWAYS made to feel welcome by her;
3. The managers here, such as Justin and Dean, are top notch....I have observed that they're always engaged and aware with what's going on, and when a challenge pops up, a frequent occurrence in the restaurant business, they quickly resolve it; Most importantly, whichever manager is on duty during a U of A game...they insure that the televisions are working well to bring our Wildcats Football to their patrons;
4. The servers are, one and all, amazing. They're friendly, helpful, menu knowledgeable, efficient, and frequently check on our table for anything we might need or want. I must give out a special High Five to Carrie...who last Saturday dealt with some demanding, difficult customers and a lot of simultaneously happening situations with grace and poise, while providing excellent service to us and her other customers...Outstanding job, Carrie 👍
And now, the food....Try the Redskins.....delicious appetizer.
Also, I highly recommend their Fish and Chips, Paleo Bowl salad, Mac and Cheese, Wildcat Burger, and Chicken Tenders. Their portions are beyond generous....ask them for a box to take home what you can't finish.
Finally, I would like to comment on the atmosphere here. This is a friendly, welcoming place for people to gather....couples, buddies, families with kids, enthusiastic Ohio State fans, and rabid Wildcat aficionados like my girlfriend and I. We LOVE this place!
First visit. Loved the atmosphere and the whole vibe. Love that it's veteran owned. Service was decent. Menu had nice variety. Tried fish n chips. Didn't care much for the tartar sauce, mainly because there was something spicy in it and I hate spice. But the fish and fries were good. Coleslaw was disappointing - just not much flavor and kinda dry. We would go back and try different food, for sure. Overall, we liked it.
The food here isn't too, bad nothing special but still well made and quite tasty. The services is about average for a bar. Now the atmosphere is where these guys really excel at. After the remodel their patio is fantastic with over six large screen TVs outside to enjoy sports games. One of the only places in town to have an outside patio like this. They're inside dining area isn't all that great but it's suitable for enjoying a game and having a beer.
Excellent Fish Fry! Burgers were outstanding. Our family of 5 dined here and would happily return! I ordered the 1/2 Fish and Chips and was astonished at the size of the order. Excellent experience.
First time at this restaurant and everything was great! I requested a specific game on a TV near my table and they made it happen within 5 minutes. The spicy bloody Mary was pretty good but I had to request olives since it only came with a lemon wedge. The steak, asparagus and salad were all very tasty and steak was cooked perfectly. Service was great as the staff was very attentive and friendly.
Edit- visit #2 I came to watch a game and got the crispy cod fish tacos. Absolutely AMAZING tasting! Can't wait to try more on the menu! Service was great as well
Our waitress was amazing, attentive, patience and very customer service savvy. She recommended the jalapeno Mac n cheese . Very scrumptious!
Since I was treated to dinner by my daughter in-laws mother didn't get her name on the receipt. Normally I would ask but it escaped my mind as we were having such a wonderful time. She has long straight black hair and is between 4'11-5'. Could be if Mexican or Asian descent. Hopefully, she will be recognized for her excellent service.
I tried the oysters my friend ordered. Being from Maryland was taken aback how fresh they tasted as if it just came out of the ocean.😉
Lastly, we were escorted to the door at the end of our mail by a fine gentleman named Dean. Wonderful soul. Thank you for the kind words.✨🙏🏽

Awesome food and customer service. This is the kind of place I could eat at every day! The menu has so many great options. Cant wait to go back and try something new! Also drinks are great just a little slow to make their way to the table.

Last night was my first time visiting (Friday at 6:30 pm). We were able to walk in and be seated fairly quickly even though the restaurant was packed. I got fried pickles as an appetizer and my friend got pretzels. They were absolutely delicious! For our meals I got the California BLT, which was tasty but there was so much lettuce it was hard for me to eat. I couldn't get my mouth over the entire sandwich lol my boyfriend got fish tacos that looked yummy, but he said the slaw on top tasted like store bought. He loved the chips and salsa. My friend got the grilled chicken pesto sandwich which she enjoyed, and her boyfriend got a steak with the most delicious looking potatoes. Overall, it was a great experience. A little pricey and there aren't many beer options. I don't usually drink liquor but the monsoon margarita wasn't bad. I want to go back because the menu is large and so many different things sounded good. Also the fries are phenomenal! I can't quite describe the taste, but I loved them. Overall, I will be going back to try different items!
Great sports bar! Was here for dinner on a weekday. It wasnt too crowded. The we sat outside. I got wings and burger. For the wings I got the habanero sauce. It was spicy but tasty. Definitely recommend this sauce if you like spicy wings. For the burger we got their hawaian burger. The burger had pineapple slices in it. The burger patty was excellent and juicy. Definitely recommend this burger. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend this resturant for games and casual dining.
