This has to be in the top three Mexican restaurants in Tucson—if not the top! The food is as authentic as you can get. Fresh made and a wide variety on the menu. Staff are so friendly and helpful. I love this place! Have been going there for seven years. Never fails me
We had a pretty good experience. Wasn't too crowded when we arrived, and service was efficient, although we weren't ready to order one minute after getting menus! My wife was happy with crunchy tacos, but I LOVED the Enchiladas Eduardo, which had a cheesy chipotle sauce that was the best dish in a week of eating out in Tucson. I would go back just to have that dish again.
As it got a bit later, tables started filling up, and it looked like some were waiting for their food. So if you go at Prime time, keep expectations In line.
Great Mexican Food
The first thing I noticed was the spectacular selection of hot sauces in the rack on our table! The full range from somewhat mild to extra hot. I tasted them all and enjoyed the variety. Warm tortilla chips and salsa were brought to the table as we sat down. My wife had the Cameron Taco Salad. A bowl made from a fresh fried tortilla filled with loads of warm, marinated cooked shrimp, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, beans, guacamole, sour cream and cheese. She absolutely loved this salad and the flavor of the shrimp. I ordered the Borchetta. This was a skewer deep fried with five good size shrimp along with bacon, onions and bell peppers. Mexican rice and beans accompanied the entree. The bacon flavor on the shrimp was great. Service was attentive and we never felt rushed during our visit. I would definitely visit here again.
Best Mexican food I’ve had in years and I eat out 3 to 4 times a week .

I’ve been going here for years. The lady servers are great and the food is delicious! I get the Chile relleno dry with rice and beans.
I love this place. The food is always delicious and the service is good. My favorite dish is the Tampiquena. I've come many times for lunch and a couple times for dinner and plan to keep coming back.
THE BEST RICE I've ever had. Enchiladas are to die for. We go here every time we're in Tucson.
Stopped by for breakfast, and was not disappointed!! Food was delicious and service was friendly! We had the chilaquilas & eggs! Yummy!! Coffee was hot and fresh!!
Local 12th Ave favorite for amazing Mexican food! I always come for the Michelada and Tampiquena! Great breakfast and dinner menu! Huge portions as you can see and never disappoints! The ladies are amazing and always sweet! Not to mention this place is so we'll priced! I love it!
Employees are always friendly, even when busy or understaffed. Food is great. The air conditioning is always on max, which is nice during the summer.
Stayed open during the "pandemic" when many places only allowed take out.

Bestest Mexican food ever! THE FOOD WAS SOO GOOD. The fajitas where great, came with a homemade tortilla. The chips and salsa was good. And the service, also great. We even loved dessert. Dinner for two with dessert was under 40 bucks.
Best little Mexican seafood restaurant in Tucson the lady that served me was very nice food was great! Prices are pretty reasonable and the place was of vintage design I like that
