We had lunch on the patio, and they looked at us a little funny when we requested it (because it was 110 out), but seated us without judgement. It was beautiful out there.
We ordered the lunch mini chimi special and the lunch cheese enchilada special. The free chips and salsa were excellent: they finished a fresh batch of chips right after we got there, so we got them still warm. The salsa is flavorful and has a good burn.
There are 6 options on the lunch menu, and each is 7.99. We figured they would be smaller plates because of this, but they're huge. Two or three meals each.
The chimis were flavorful, and the chicken chimi was shredded chicken, with green chili flavor. I would have preferred shredded beef to ground, but thats entirely a taste thing. There were two enchiladas on the plate, both COVERED in cheese and incredibly fresh and soft. Neither of us tried the rice, but the beans are phenomenal, especially with cheese mixed in.
Mobility: lots of room between tables. Only two disabled parking spots, both in the back, but they're very close to a door with a ramp, and both have room for lifts.
Hearing impairment: There is music, but its at a nice level, inside and out, so that you have atmosphere without interfering with hearing.
Allergies: Watch out! The patio is lovely, but the fountain in the middle is used by bees for water. There are a lot of tables they never came near, but just be aware.

1st time I eaten here, and really wish it wasn't 2 hours away from my home area. The service was top-notch, the waiter was excellent.
I'm a fan of Carne Asada, but on the menu was Carne Seca. Wow, what a taste explosion. The waiter told me they sun-dried the meat on site, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Definitely worth the trip there.
Casa Molina is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson! I spent my birthday there with my friends! The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious! They make it a point to get to know you personally and the staff remembers you face, name, and even your favorite dishes. They even recognize my voice when I call in my order for pick up! It’s one of the reasons why I keep going back for so many years! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for great Mexican cuisine!
We're from Maryland and every time we visit Tucson we make sure to stop by Casa Molina (on Speedway Blvd) at least once or twice. Casa Molina is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to and love it for the amazing food and interesting interior. While it may not look extremely new and fancy, the feeling of being in a very special and authentic building built with Mexican architecture adds a lot to the experience. If you're in Tucson and want a genuine Mexican restaurant make sure to stop by! (Also good parking in back and great prices)
Very impressed. Food is excellent and a good quantity. Prices reasonable, considering we had drinks with our meals. Husband ordered the carne asada dinner and I ordered the house enchiladas. So much good food! And the hot sopapillas! Outstanding.
The ambiance was just right for a Mexican restaurant. The service was very good. Picadillo, cheese and green chili burro, and the chicken mole were excellent. The chili sauce had just the right bite. Would have been five stars except that the cazuela was mostly broth and the menudo, although flavorful, was quite salty. Mentioned to our server that " se le callo el salero en el menudo al chef". Every restaurant is entitled to one misstep. Will be back, as now we know what to order.

I grew up in Tucson and travel back to visit my friends and family. Casa Molina was a part of my childhood family gatherings. I always meet my friends at Casa Molina for a great Sonoran style Mexican food. It's a tradition, now over forty years old. I'll keep coming back. I highly recommend Casa Molina's.
