Love love love this place. Hubby and I just discovered what great breakfasts they have and we've eaten there three times in two weeks. Wonderful. Everything we've had has been delicious and the people are just great! Best black and white cookies in the world. And the salted caramel cookies. And the asiago bread. And the croissants. And soft lemon cookies. OH, and the cinnamon rolls that are bigger than your head...ahhhhhhh...
If you are looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day business, and enjoy a breakfast or a pastry in an inclusive, positive environment, this is the place you have been looking for.
The Village Bakehouse offers an incredibly broad variety of pastries, a selection of great hot (and cold drinks) and, perhaps most importantly, a service with a smile. You will find that while the indoor space is a little tiny, it is cozy and inviting, and at the outdoor patio there is plenty of seating -- under heated spots, even for a cooler day.
The breakfast tacos seem to be the thing to do in the mornings, but cannot fault anything that I have had here. :)

I absolutely love this spot in Tucson. Their food, ambiance and service makes it a cozy place for comfort food. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor covered patio. I learned about this place through a client who order her wedding cake here. They decorated it with my flowers pictures below. Needless to say they did a phenomenal job!
Today December 2nd my daughter and I stopped by after a wedding delivery at the Buttes at reflections wedding and had the tomato soup and grilled veggie sandwich. Very flavorful and fullfilling.
Village Bakehouse is a fantastic place. They made our wedding cake planning process super easy and were very flexible and receptive to ideas. The cake turned out absolutely gorgeous and tasted amazing. Our guest couldn't get enough of it and continually complemented both the look and taste.
Village Bakehouse made the cake for our wedding last weekend. Not only was it delicious, it was beautiful! I would highly recommend them for a special occasion or events.
I love this place!! All of the food I've had is very good and their baked goods are scrumptious. I especially like their fudge brownie, it is perfection. The staff is always nice as well. I arrived 2 minutes before closing time the other day (not on purpose) and they still happily took my order. Highly recommend.
Village Bakehouse was so easy to work with. Got an 8” round wedding cake. We chose Red Velvet. It was so delicious! The cake was very beautiful and elegant! Got so many compliments on our cake! Thank you so much!
They made my wedding cake to serve over 100 people and not only was it beautiful, but it was so delicious. We had gotten the almond and vanilla flavoring with strawberry filling and it was by far my favorite cake I've ever had. Loved it!!!
I regularly go to Village Bakehouse to get pastries for my office for executive sessions and it is always a hit! I've also had the best brownie that I've ever eaten here. Absolutely recommend!!

I wanted to eat outside: so you go in, pass the simply amazing bakery displays (if you can) order, pay, get a number and grab a seat. Whew
Not eating gluten or pork ( not celiac though) there are usually less choices- but there were a few tasty looking options -yay
I ordered the “Three Breakfast Tacos”
Took my number and hit a sweet table in the shade
Inside it was getting crowded with all the lucky people converged around the bakery display - I was jealous. I bet they had some gluten free options, But I still don’t need the calories
The server grabbed me some water and I prepared to WAIT. It took about 10-12 minutes and out came a beautiful display of yum yum CRISPY tacos

Oh YES! The shells were amazing! Crispy, yet easy to bite, not soft, but easy to bite thru-truly the best shells I’ve EVER had
The pico and sour cream just topped it off
I think I set a record scarfing these beauties up.
It was … embarrassing 😳
