Okay, let me start with why this was only 4-stars because this is not a reflection on the food or the beer because they were great! The reason I only did 4-stars was because my friend and I are here for a military school and forgot our masks back in our rooms (like 30 minutes away). We saw that masks were required so we stood at the entrance, away from other people and asked politely if they had paper masks. No problem! They gave us paper masks and we were seated. However, from that point onward the atmosphere and the body language of the staff was just not very inviting. Now, this could have been due to the fact that there were 3 to 4 people at the front of the restaurant at any given moment that just weren't really doing much of anything, which I totally understand. But the vibes they were putting off were just not great. Anyway, something like that is completely subjective, but for me it did affect my experience overall. Now, the food! I got the special for the month as a calzone, the Genoa: so so good! Very generous with toppings/fillings, the sauce was really robust and flavorful, and the crust was baked oh so perfectly! I ordered one of the in-house beers as well and that did not disappoint either! It was a mesquite porter, bourbon barrel aged: so delicious and very easy drinking with a little bit of that nice bourbon boozy flavor on the finish! So, overall, great place. All of our direct interactions with staff were great too so once again, don't let my subjective view put you off from eating here at all! At the very least, order something to go and have a beer while you wait!

Fantastic pizza and incredibly unique, tasty beers! Mesquite Smoked Porter is over the top flavorful and one-of-a-kind beer. They have sours on tap and some great craft beers to satisfy your cravings. Highly recommend any beers they offer. Pizza is fresh as are the ingredients. Always get the ROMAN pizza. 1,000% better than other places. Great value, locally owned and operated. Never had a poor experience. Highly recommend.

Ultimately, my score is based around the food, which was very good. The single slice was massive (more than enough to satisfy), making the price reasonable as is. However, their system was down, so they were willing to give me the pizza for free, even when I offered to pay in cash. Finally, the service I received beyond the free pizza was very personal where the staff were ensuring my every need was met and even stopping to have conversation with me. Between all of that, I would certainly say this is one of the better pizza places in Tucson!

This is one of my absolute favorite pizza places in Tucson. The slices are huge. Their appetizers are amazing. And I LOVE Hires rootbeer. We come when school is notnin session to avoid the crowds, and it is always a treat. The staff is super friendly and accommodating too!

The pizza here is top notch. A thicker more doughy crust that still gets nice and crispy on the bottom. Nice topping selection. Awesome selection of beer on tap. The space is good for large or small groups. The service was excellent. The owner even brought over some freezer cake bites for us. How nice is that? Parking tricky so be sure to plan in advance. You can also get to this spot easily walking from the Sunlink light rail stops of 2nd Street and Cherry or Warren and Helen.

Great huge pizza slices and plenty of beers. Now with table service. Well-priced compared to most local watering holes... So that is MUCH appreciated!

We tried their 1702 signature beer, the habanero beer and some garlic knots. All very good, at the right temperature. It was a Friday, non university game night, and it was somewhat empty. Perfect for a beer and good conversation.

Great pizza joint. I got one slice with mozzarella, provolone, and chorizo. It was toped with a Chipotle honey wing drizzle. Very very good and huge portions. Would certainly recommend this place.
