The very best Thai style cuisine I’ve had in years. Fresh ingredients contribute to a light and delicious flavor. The portions are large and the appetizers in particular are a great value. Chef and owner “Dee” came out to ask how we enjoyed our meal. Wait service was friendly and helpful. Pricing is very reasonable for a quality meal and drinks. Very satisfied with this bistro.

This place is top notch! It was our 4th wedding anniversary. I spoke to the owner while making our dinner reservation and she had a carved out pineapple filled with fruit and orchid flowers on our table (traditional gifts for that anniversary) when we arrived. It made The night magical. The food was perfectly cooked with the right amount of spice as well. I cannot say enough about how great this place is!

Best Thai food we’ve eaten in some time. Beautiful presentation, friendly and professional service, and pretty & airy decor. You can feel the attention to detail and taste the commitment to quality. Such a great find! The Kao Op Sapparos (fried rice in a hollowed-out pineapple) was the best fried rice I’ve ever eaten and so creatively presented.

It’s not often we frequent downtown Tucson, but we were excited to try Senae Thai. Parking was $6 flat rate at the nearest lot. Based on other reviews, it sounds like this is supposed to be THE authentic Thai cuisine. Maybe I’m embarrassed to say that my taste buds are accustomed to American-Thai style food? Alas, we shared the taro fries. These were good. Simple appetizer. I had the yellow curry which automatically comes as chicken. Normally, I’m asked what spice level at other restaurants (eg “do you want spicy or THAI spicy?”), however I wasn’t during this encounter. The chicken thigh/leg was cooked very well - loved it. The curry sauce left a little to be desired especially without any spiciness. Flavor was slightly bland. We also had the beef pad Thai. And correct me if I’m wrong, but was not expecting the overpowering fish sauce flavor. Again, accustomed to a much different pad Thai flavor. Wouldn’t recommend unless you like fish sauce. Pricing was a bit steep and so overall, probably won’t be returning anytime soon. 4/5 stars. Thank you.

I’ve never had Thai food before, and this place made me never want to eat Thai food anywhere else but here. I suggest the veggie rolls and chili vinaigrette, they were a great appetizer. I ordered the Pad Kemow and added chicken. It was a double first, because I also haven’t had tofu. The tofu was perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I opted for spice level 3 and I was not disappointed. If you aren’t a spice fan, I would stick to the lower numbers. The food was amazing, and the servers were personable, friendly and on the ball. Overall this place was amazing.

Best Thai food in Tucson and it isn't close. This is legitimately authentic. It's also the best curry period I've had in Tucson and I generally prefer Indian curry. The duck breast was perfectly cooked as well. The lemongrass wings are also a highlight, a great low pressure introduction to Thai flavors for those unaccustomed to this deliciousness. Go here now!

Have been to this amazing restaurant twice and still planning to go back. The Taro fries is so good! Strongly recommend! Yellow curry is the dish I always order every time I go! The other dishes are all amazing, no bad food!

Senae is a great addition to he downtown culinary scene! The BBQ chicken dish and veg roll I had were both delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was mellow and perfect for a Saturday dinner. My cocktails were also well made. I had wanted to go to MiAn's, but it was rather loud and college-y. Senae was a much better choice!

Mixed feelings about this place. Dine-in has been great, if not excellent, when we have gone however take-out was abysmal. Take-out portions were small and a sloppy mess. As a caution for when you are going, make reservations as each time it has been packed. Overall I do like the spot but it is on the more expensive side for Thai but does have a chic, modern atmosphere.

Authentic Thai food served in modern way. Very nice atmosphere, ambiance, menu selection and good service. Grilled Salmon with coconut curry is my favourite. It is full of flavours and taste. Highly recommended.
