Review Agustin Kitchen - Tucson

Great location and ambience, the service staff is very attentive and the menu is creative with a little something for everyone. Ingredients are fresh and you can taste it in the food. We went in the afternoon and ordered from the happy hour menu. I had the fish & chips and my wife had the summer pear salad. Both were presented amazingly and delicious! We washed it down with a couple of Dos XX lagers from the tap and then we topped it off with dessert. We ordered the Pain Killer, an incredible culinary creation that you'll be glad you tried. We’ll be back!

Another perfect meal! This is a must when visiting Tucson! Early in the week is less crowded, sometimes long waits on prime days. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Great service. Great presentation and plating. Rib eye, lamb, and desserts are all time!

Nice restaurant with patio. It’s located inside Mercado San Agustine marketplace. We came here for lunch and had a good time as the staffs were very friendly. Calamari salad is my favorite. The calamari was well seasoned and very crispy. Steak sandwich was ok. Onion soup was too oily.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Food - impeccable. Service - phenomenal. Atmosphere- beautiful. My only suggestion is for them to have more accommodations for those with food allergies. I have to eat gluten free and based on the menu and the information from our server, they didn't have many options for me to choose from. But what I did get, I LOVED! They also had a great drink selection too. 5 stars. Will return.

Menu provides many excellent items to select. Service is attentive professional and friendly. The atmosphere is upscale casual and comfortable. Noisy when busy requires a raised voice to be heard at times.

We went to Agustin Kitchen for my daughter's 18th birthday. We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately with a smile. The food is smashingly fabulous. You can taste the freshness of every plate. The service is top notch!! The GM took it a step further by coming by to say hello and checking on our meal and experience. Treat yourself to a lovely atmosphere and delightful food. You won't regret it!

We had a lovely evening out here. The service was good. We shared a number of plates, including crab cakes, olives, Artic Char and the award winning bread. All the food was fresh and oh so tasty! Will definitely go back!

My wife and I were in town visiting my daughter. We were looking for some place to eat an early dinner. Unfortunately, most places in Tucson don't start serving dinner on Sunday's until 5 pm. Kind of weird, but luckily AG has happy hour with a really nice patio. So we decided to kill an hour on the patio then move into the dining room. I really liked the decor of this place, very clean and modern. Reminds me of a nice restaurant in New Orleans. Some of the dishes are more adventurous. Both my daughter and I ordered the halibut, which came with roe. My daughter asked for hers on the side, which I ended up adding to my dish. My halibut was cooked to perfection, but hers was a little overcooked. All in all a very nice, but expensive restaurant near downtown Tucson.

Fun place for dinner and drinks. Had to sit at the bar because we didn't call for reservations until late. Bartenders were attentive and friendly. We started with the Barrio bread, which is always good. The halibut dish with artichokes was divine. My husband ordered the calamari salad, which was just okay.

Phenomenal cuisine complimented by a wonderful staff and a warm inviting atmosphere. All of the dishes were perfectly executed, cocktails were good, and our server was over the top exceptional. New menu was even better than the last time we went. The manager even came by to check in, taking time to recommend and detail some of his personal favorites off the menu. Very much looking forward to our next visit.

Had high expectations based on reviews but will not be going back. 1) 10 min wait for waiter to take drink orders. Another 20 min before drinks arrived: AFTER our appetizers. 2) Limited menu selection 3) Had the muscle and shrimp fettuccine special. Muscles smelled fishy and were squishy unpleasant texture & taste. 4) The four of us wanted a bottle of wine with dinner but waiter never returned & had to ask busboy to ask our waiter to return. The waiter brought wine list and left. 10 min later we again asked the busboy for waiter to return. Another 15 min before wine came - AFTER 2 of us had already finished dinner! Inattentive waiter never came to check with us. Based on extremely poor service, limited menu and a terrible meal, & prices that do not match the quality, this restaurant earns a 0.

I am sorry I did not get our server's name. She made an excellent wine suggestion and was so professional and attentive. Our meal was just delicious from the appetizer they so graciously split for us to our entrée (I had the special for the day the pasta bolognase and my husband had the Miso salmon) and finished with the rum and ginger carrot cake.

Went in on a Sunday 3/11/18 never been there didn't know what to expect. Went inside and a greeter gave me a menu and we decided to sit outside. I enjoyed it very much had baked oysters and the calamari. Both were excellent it was happy hour and I enjoyed an old fashioned. Sitting outside is normally not fun but the weather was awesome. It was an overall good experience and I will return for the happy hour prices.

A must for brunch. To start 32oz. mimosas and bloody Marys. Homemade jam came with our eggs scrambled & veggies and eggs. Another top meal of egg poutine was well worth coming back for. .

Ok, this is one of our favorite restaurants in Tucson. We often come for Happy Hour and enjoy the goat cheese brule and drinks, then have dinner in the main restaurant. Happy Hour was great although the margaritas were not as good as usual. I ordered the tomato bisque- pretty good, comforting but not great. The Salad Nicoise was a real disappointment. While I understand the chef can vary the ingredients in a Nicoise, some basics were totally missing. No tuna - the salmon belly substitutes were fatty and inedible. No capers. No green beans - the asparagus stalk substitutes were thick and tough. No eggs. Anchovies, a basic ingredient, cost $2 extra and I got them. I had to ask for extra dressing as there seemed very little taste. We won't give up on AK, but I didn't enjoy my meal very much. Service was good, as always.

Great place for specialty cocktails, beer and wine. Food is amazing. Love the location and ambience.

Disappointing. Have to pay $3 for a baguette? Really? Waiter was very rough around the edges. Mediocre menu, nothing exciting. Loved it when it first opened, nothing special. $40 for 3 scallops-- really?

Erich, thanks for the amazing service. The wine pairing was spot on. Alex, you’re done it again. The choices were to just what we expected. This was our second year in a row celebrating Valentine’s Day at Augustin Kitchen. We have decided to make it an annual tradition for us. See you Soon. Reed it was great to see you again. Thanks again.

We went for lunch, and really enjoyed this place. I ordered the hamburger, and was cooked to perfection, and my husband the salad with beef, and he loved it and the soup! Great waitress! Great atmosphere, we live in Green Valley, but would like to make this our monthly treat!

This is my new favorite place. Just hanging out the bar for happy hour as well as for dinner. It's a winner!

We were there several months back and enjoyed the scallops, they're amazing. The fresh raw oysters were also quite tasty.

Been there before with no problem, but this last visit was really bad. My drink order was totally ignored, had to order again..flagged the waiter for food order, to be ignored...finally left to go eat somewhere else

The Walk-About-Book Club from SIerra Vista, Arizona will be returning to this wonderful Kitchen. John, our waiter, made it a great experience and each one of our dish selections he recommended made our lunch something to remember. We will all be back. The drink offerings and desserts hit the spot for sure. Ride the trolley to the Mercado San Agustin for the full experience..Great time was had by all. Great atmosphere and decor...

My friend had the burger with garlic fries - she said the burger was moist and delicious - I snuck a few of her fries - they were perfect. I had Eggs Benedict - yummy! The sauce had just the right amount of tarragon and the arugala salad was not over dressed. Every ingredient was respected. Large strong, and spicy, Bloody Mary's were awesome. Service was very good without being obsequious. Nice ambiance and not too noisy. I'll return for sure!!!

Chef Clark is a highlight of the Tucson culinary scene. Even the simple is elevated (Caesar was crisp, delicious, and beautifully presented). Service is top notch as well. We enjoyed the airy design and the open kitchen is fun to watch.
