I was looking to try some local food outside my hotel and found this gem.

Stopped into Tucson Tamales tonight. The food was absolutely spectacular! Every bite tasted new, fresh, and delicious. I was excited every time to take that bite. This IS my new comfort food. Next time I am craving Mexican cuisine, I will be coming here!

What can I say? Most delicious tamales I've ever had, and probably the most impressive display of great hot sauces I've ever seen. Picked up some Ghost of Saffron and I am a happy guy. Thank you to the wonderful people that operate this place.

Great tamales. My abuela used to hand make her own tamales and always has an olive in them. Just a little detail that made me feel like the cared. Also, had a lot of different sauces plus a tasting section to find out before you buy what you like. Great service!
Some folks are going to really the tamales here and some folks aren't going to be impressed by them... it all depends on what you expect from a tamale... as their tamales do not have as much meat/vegetable filling as other places I've tried. I felt the corn masa they use is very good, much better t

I love Tucson Tamale Company! I used to be a frequent customer and always appreciated their vegetarian and vegan-conscious menu, the salsa bar, and not to mention the amazing staff. I enjoy that I can now have green chile and cheese tamales delivered to my doorstep far away 😊
The street corn nachos are incredible, and you can't go wrong with any combination of tamales. The Mexican slaw is chock full of cilantro and peppers; I highly recommend it!

I first had these tamales through a HungryRoot delivery, and immediately knew I wanted more! It turns out, these are sold frozen at my local grocery store. The sausage and cheese breakfast tamale is so very good!
