I always love coming here you can order for takeout or in the restaurant perfect for dinner or lunch with friends by yourself or if you simply got off work and want some thing to eat that will make your tastebuds tingle. They have a wide selection of tamales, both vegetarian and meat, lover options, which are a win-win for our household. They also make their own salsa which is extraordinary. You can expect to pay anywhere between eight to $10 if you get takeout and of course it’s going to be more if you eat in the restaurant. The tamales are amazing. I have to say my favorite is the green chili and cheese.

Stopped in while driving through Tucson and I'm glad we did. Our family of 5 shared the family meal. It was just about the perfect amount of food. The kids liked the salsa bar and the chips were very delicious. I was surprised with how good the Mexican slaw was, but the tamales definitely steal the show. The service was great too, friendly and helpful. The wall of heat was fun to look through.

I was looking to try some local food outside my hotel and found this gem. I had a burrito and chips and salsa. All of the food was fresh and tasted great. The highlights for me were the salsa bar and very large selection of hot sauces to try. The Xtreme regret sauce definitely lived up to it's name 😂

Stopped into Tucson Tamales tonight. The food was absolutely spectacular! Every bite tasted new, fresh, and delicious. I was excited every time to take that bite. This IS my new comfort food. Next time I am craving Mexican cuisine, I will be coming here! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We instantly felt like part of their family. The staff knew the regulars on a first name basis, as they walked through the door to the shop. This locally owned business makes their customers first priority. Jaycen and Nashara are hard working, and took great care of us. They are definitely beneficial to this Locally Owned Business. And a blessing to the customers experience. I personally had the Loaded Nachos with cheese, pinto beans, tamale beef with green hatch Chilies, and a brownie. The brownie was soft, and sweet. It was a nice dessert. The tortilla chips (and regular tortillas) were fresh. We had salsa from their salsa buffet, and that paired great with the nachos. The beef was so full of flavor that I was salivating before each bite. The smell of the fresh tamales had my stomach growling for more, even when I was stuffed full.
