I have been enjoying these tamales for a couple of months now. I live in North Carolina, and it's so nice to have found very good frozen tamales. I especially like the hot and spicy pork. I had seen these advertised at my Harris Teeter grocery store, but was having problems finding them in the Frozen section. Shame on me, but now I know exactly where they are, and grab a few every week. A wonderful, delicious and quick meal.

Honestly choosing Tuscon tameles is a pro move. I love their frozen tamales for when I travel and for work. They are so easy, healthy and especially delicious

I have been to Tucson Tamale twice now. I am a big fan of their tamales. All of the different types that I have sampled so far are impressive! I have been shocked to learn that I could only get beef Tamales at every other restaurant in Tucson, AZ, thus far! What a letdown! However, Tucson Tamale doesn't disappoint! I can't wait to try more of the great food that they have. Pro Tip: don't expect to be going to a fancy restaurant. This place is casual. The employee who works there is helpful and super friendly! You can also find food to buy and take home! It's a neat place!

I decided to try this restaurant based on the selection of vegetarian tamale options and I was not disappointed.
The staff was polite and professional, and service was quick.
I tried the 2 tamale plate with a jalapeno and cheese and a black bean and cheese tamale. I also got the side of Spanish rice and chips and salsa. The black bean tamale was good but to be honest it tasted a bit bland. I added some salsa to it and it spiced it up. The jalapeno and cheese tamale was good. I can handle heat and spicy food and it made my nose run a little bit! Not too hot but it definitely had some kick. The Spanish rice and chips were good too. The salsa bar had several selections to choose from and was stocked and fresh.
I noticed on my way out they had dessert tamales, one of which is chocolate and cherries so I might have to go back sometime simply to try that! That sounds yummy.

This place has the best tamales, mostly (or all) gluten free and filled with taste! The variety is outstanding, and they even have seasonal tamales. Now they ship, too, and they are sold in two packs at supermarkets in town. Inside, the space is skinny, dark, and deep, so I don't really feel comfortable; that's no biggie, though, because they have lots of outside seating for everyone. The prices feel expensive, too, but they reheat well and always leave our tummies happy.

As the title states - I love Mexican food, but I don't enjoy tamales. However, I loved the tamales at Tucson Tamale!! They were extremely delicious and wonderful. I loved the chips and the salsa bar - great salsas!! During a week of mostly fine dining for a business conference - this was my favorite dining place at Tucson. In fact I went there due to Trip Advisory reviews. So glad I did. I can't wait to return!

TTC is a no-frills operation with delicious tamales and sides. The tamales plate is a great value, and they always have plenty of delicious fresh and frozen vegan and vegetarian options. The tortilla chips are sad, considering how great the rest of the food is- a nice, restaurant-style non-Tostito would elevate TTC to perfection. The salsa bar will be missed, if the pandemic has killed that forever.

Total tamales today! Warm for eating now or frozen for later. Plus an offering of other types of Mexican cuisine and a lot to drink. Friendly helpful staff. Recommended.

An absolute staple of the Tucson community. Their tamales are a consistent treat (Try their Green Chile Cheese and Blue Corn Tamales!), their sides are surprisingly excellent, and their salsa bar is always fresh and satisfying. If you’re looking for a good tamale, this is the place to go. And if you’re not in the area, you can even order them online!

Grabbed a friend and set out to check out the new Tucson Tamale location on Tanque Verde. I have dined at the Broadway shop many times and wanted to see what the new shop was all about.
We arrived around 2pm to avoid the lunch rush. The staff was welcoming and offered to help my friend with the menu. The feel of the space is great; very clean with a huge glass window that you can watch tortillas being made and tamales being rolled.
The food was delicious, as I expected. I ordered my usual Santa Fe tamales with pinto beans and my friend ordered a chicken burrito. I was impressed that she gave it a thumbs up, as she typically is quite picky and sticks to a rotation of about six restaurants.
Overall, everything from the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, was great. So excited to have a Tucson Tamale location on the east side!!!

In a world where diverse diets are the norm, Tucson Tamale Company comes out on top for business lunches. We have used their catering services several times and have always been impressed by the quality of the food, the accuracy of the order, the organization of the labeling and the satisfaction of all of the guests. There is no other place in town that does such a great job with such a diverse selection of food. The packaging makes it easy to serve with no confusion over which tamale is which. With vegan options, veggie, chicken, meat and dessert, there's something for everyone here. Don't forget to include a large salad with your order - it's amazing. The dressing might be a little strong but a little goes a long way. There brownies are incredible and huge as well. Thanks Tucson Tamale Company - we'll be using you again for sure!

I wish I lived nearby so I eat here all the time! The quality is wonderful and I am a fussy foodie. If I hadn't been on a long driving trip I would have bought some frozen tamales to take along. Yummmmmm is not high enough praise.

Clerk was very friendly, helpful with our choices. Great tortillas. Tamales were lacking in flavor, maybe just the batch?
