Colossus Pizza

I love this place!! It's tucked in a shopping center on the other side of Staples, so I've missed it a few times...I had no idea it was the same Colossus that used to be in Stone Mountain and they've been in this Tucker location for 7 years! The restaurant itself has a great design with a garage door style patio and a separate totally air conditioned inside dining area. We've been there twice so far, first time we got a Philly and an Italian sub. They were delicious! Last time, we got a Colossus Special pizza. That was AMAZING!! Also, Kevin is the sweetest guy and made sure that absolutely everything was to our liking :-)

The wifey and I decided on Greek food for our weekly take-out tradition while in the pandemonium, and I stumbled upon this place since Grecian Gyro, another Tucker establishment, was closed on Sundays. I'm glad I found this other Greek resto. The phone ordering was seamless enough, and even though I never gave them my name, they had my last name when I picked up (called ID I guess). We ordered for 4 people, and I got a variety of items, to try out their offerings. I ordered the small colossus pizza, 2 gyro wraps (gyro meat, and grilled chicken), a gyro meat platter, and the Greek spinach and cheese filled pastry. I tried all 5 items, and everybody reported that they enjoyed the food very much. The small pizza could have fed 2 average persons, or a very hangry one with a slice or two left. Their tzatziki sauce tasted very fresh and refreshing. The only thing that threw my wifey off was that the pita was not stuffable, which is what she's used to. Overall, we will order again from this place when we desire Mediterranean fare.

I ordered the Mossaka. It was a extra long wait to get my food. There was only one server (poor dear). The main entree was burnt. I notified the server after I attempted to eat it. They offered to discount my meal. Of my $15.99 I was given $5. Off. My husband's food was good (He had Gyros plate). This was disappointing visit. 3 stars only because my husband's meal was good.
