Dreamy. I don't know who Martine is-- but I imagine her to be an elegant fairy draped in a pink maribou robe who creates confections with her crystal wand.
One word: PERFECTION!
Classy, higher end confections. Well wort the visit. They have great coffee too. Try the chocolate or raspberry scones or the decedent chocolate brownie. Martine's always delights!
A little expensive, but delicious! Love the raspberry lemon muffins and the raspberry mousse!
This place is what is, if you go there thinking it is one nycs top must go bakeries, you'll probably be dissapointed. But if you realize it is in burbs bakery than it you'll think it's pretty good. It's not amazing but good. The staff were kind, cute clean place I'd eat it in. I do love the salads are take and go and they all looked super fresh, and I closely examined them all. The portions seemed fair, cake slices huge. The displays are absolutely stunning. Each pastry looks like a delicate piece of art. However for me the taste just wasn't all there and I've tried lot of stuff from cakes, cookies, croissants, tarts and scones. If you have tasted real deal french bakery pastries, you'd know what I'm talking about. Also the salad I had even though it was tasty, it had lot of large chunks from the bottom of the head of lettuce or cabbage, I don't usually see that much of that part in salads I buy.
Delicious everything! Whether it's stopping by to grab a quick coffee and pastry, or staying for some lunch, Martine's never disappoints. It can be very busy at times because of how popular it is, so waiting a bit is expected, but it's never a terrible wait. I especially love the sandwiches.
It’s always a good time to go to Martine’s. From the hearthy soups and creative sandwiches to the amazing pastries. (Try the bread pudding!). Olivia and Mishell always make us feel welcome. Their hot chocolate is delicious too!.
It’s a unique and very nice place with not only great looking but very fresh and tasteful food with all kind tastes. The place has a nice vibrant interior design with a lot of natural sun light and great and friendly stuff. Enough seating for a couple with children or just an enjoyable coffee experience with your loved ones.
Great little cafe/bakery to get a cappuccino , latte or mocha with a array of small bite desserts such as macaroons, small cookies, sweet breads or with their delicious tray of sandwiches that gives it a French feel.
I've been here a bunch of times and love it. Food has always been great, with one exception. Just placed a to go order for French Toast and it came with 'Kraft Pancake Syrup'. Seriously? The level the rest of the food in this kitchen is at, and you're serving Corn Syrup with food coloring in it in place of maple syrup? I felt like I didn't need to ask but that's just embarrassing at this level. Raise the price if you have to thats not edible it went straight in the trash where it belongs and i had to eat my french toast dry. Otherwise everything is great, but this needs to be cleaned up. That's the only reason the is 4 stars not 5.
Excellent bakery products. I bought apple danish, crumb bun and scone. All three were excellent and service was teriffic...would definitely go back.
I had a delicious toasted croissant with bacon egg and mozzarella. It was absolutely delicious . Their vanilla truffle cookies are to die for . However I wasn’t a big fan of the coffee . I had a latte with oat milk wasn’t anything amazing .
Just found this place because I was getting my boots fixed @ the shoe repair 2 doors down. Martine's is such a cute, quaint place! 😊

This place has delicious pastries and very friendly, courteous staff. Stopping in for breakfast was the best part of my commute when I still lived in the area, and I have dreamed about their cauliflower hash brown more than once since I moved away.
