Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe

I have been a devoted fan of Taziki's Friday Pasta for years. I am sad to report that it just has not been the same at my local restaurant in Trussville since the Pandemic. Either the chicken is over cooked, dry and chewy, or the pasta is way beyond the toothy al dente that I favor. I have continued to come every Friday for weeks now hoping it would improve and be the pre pandemic dish I loved, but each time disappointed. I will probably keep trying a few more times, but I am losing hope.

Dr. Lowe was awesome! Took her time and listened to my issues and have me great recommendations for new glasses to try. I work on a computer all day every and needed a fix from bifocals. Matt was also wonderful with helping me chose a pair of glasses I absolutely love! Highly recommend both of them!!!

Tazikis has quite a selection of delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Honestly, you just about can't go wrong here. The sandwiches, salads and specials are all great, and the feasts are the feature dishes here in my opinion. Between the beef tenders, the pork loin, the chicken kabob or the seafood feasts, I've had them all and I would put them on par with most "fancy", sit down restaurants. A+, highly recommended.

Visited the Trussville AL. Location walked in, placed order up front all the tables were not cleaned up after other parties have left inside, went to the outside dinning, and all the tables were also not cleaned and cleared for us to sit. So had to walk back to let them know, one waitress finally got around to cleaning the table, we wouldve picked another place to sit but they were all not cleaned up. I never seen that. Then when we got our food the chicken sandwich that I got was under cooked so ended up not eating anything but the two sides on plate which was grilled asparagus, and red potatoes, the asparagus was brunt. Potatoes were not good. Did not ask to remake because they already weren't organized. The environment was workers who weren't doing their jobs, and gone from their positions, especially the front were you take the orders and do everything. I noticed the same lady that cleaned our table up, was also the only one doing all the work. At the end of the meal. I see her sweeping the restraunt, and Thanked Her, I did noticed she was the ONLY one working picking up taskes others left. The front where the cashiers where, was not their, they left. Don't know where they went but they weren't up front the whole time we was there. Sadly, this experience has ruined the previous experience of Tazikis. I will never eat here again. It was gross. Of course last time I eat here was 10 years ago, the food was amazing. I guess, everything changes and it has gone downhill now. So Sad.
