The thing I like best about Samsara is the consistency. The food is always amazing, the owners make everyone feel welcome, and they take allergies seriously. I am allergic to shellfish so I am always a little leery about eating at a place that serves shrimp, but I have never had a problem here. One of my favorite restaurants in TC
Our family’s new favorite restaurant 😋 We are so happy we found Southeast Asian food near us! You can’t find this flavor anywhere else in TC. My husband (he’s Cambodian) said it tastes just like his mom’s food. Not only was the food delicious, but the customer service was amazing!!! I came in with my daughter (who is almost 2) to pick up our food and they were wonderful with her. They even brought the food out to my car. I can’t wait to come in again soon ☺️
Highly recommended! We were running late and arrived just 30 minutes before they closed. The owner greeted us at the counter and before we could say that we were sorry for arriving so late and we’d like to get it to go, he invited us in and said no problem, just sit down and take your time. No rush. And the food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-! We ordered Drunken Noodles and Yellow Curry Pad Thai. Bon Appetite! Our complements to the chef.
We love Samsara! All of the food is fantastic and made with fresh high quality ingredients, the owner and staff are super friendly, and we always have a great experience when we dine in. We happily support this family owned delightful restaurant and recommend it to everyone 😊. My personal favorite dish is the LocLah, but everything is delicious! 😋 if you are thinking about giving Samsara a try, you should—you won’t be disappointed!
The food definitely tastes like a good, home cooked meal. There are so many good options on the menu it was hard to decide! You can also choose your spice level. Staff are super kind and helpful! Thank you!
I've passed this place many times on my way to see a baseball game, but never had the time to try it. I cannot believe I've missed out for so long! I ordered the Peanut Curry Noodles & it was amazing...and fast. The person I ordered from was personable & helpful. I would definitely recommend!
This was out first time trying Samsara and we loved it. Everything was flavorful, fresh & super tasty. Highly surprised how good the egg drop soup was! And, the samsara chicken was also very good! Can’t wait to order again. Very friendly as well.
In a city full of 'overpriced and underwhelming', this is a refreshing addition to the food scene in Traverse City. Thai inspired with Cambodian & Laos influences, you won't find a dish here that doesn't deliver on flavor, even if that flavor differs slightly from what you may be use to. Different is good. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. We just wish we didn't live 4 hrs away because this would be in our weekly rotation.
The food is excellent and remarkable service! Will go back to try full menu.
