Open air covered dining area was perfect after a rain storm. We had a walk at waterfront, bet the view would be even more magnificent on a good weather day.

We absolutely loved this restaurant during our visit to TC. I highly recommend making a reservation or joining the online waitlist before arrival so that you don’t wait for 1+ hours upon checking in (at least for dinner). The service was great, food was delicious and we enjoyed their selection of wine. Everything was prepared perfectly and we had a great experience!
I recently dined at Apache restaurant in Traverse City, and the overall experience was very positive. The ambiance was fantastic, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Trifecta!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere. And the views are spectacular!! Scallops, mushroom asparagus risotto and halibut were all super good!! ❤️ Jackie was an excellent server, she super hustled all night!! Would definitely recommend!!
The atmosphere was so nice and laid back. They had live music (on the patio) which was off the water and the food was amazing! The service was top notch as well. I would definitely visit this place again!
We were here celebrating our 34 anniversary. The pan seared halibut over asparagus risotto and the panko crusted whitefish with mashed potatoes were both excellent. Nice casual ambiance. Nice view of the bay.
I was visiting traverses Michigan for work and decide to eat here with a friend. The environment and location of the Apache trout grill is nice! Unfortunately I didn’t take a picture of the menu, a video of the dock area and live music being played but it was nice. I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon that came with rice and asparagus. It was good! Very flavorful and good portion size. My friend ordered the perch sandwich I believe or the Ruben with sweet potato fries haha I can’t remember what it was but it was also very good.

Come for the food, but don't miss out on the view outside with live music on the water (drinks only served out here).
Whitefish was amazing, Trout and sides delicious too! We split the whitefish and there are plentiful portions.
Our FAVORITE place to eat whenever we come to T.C! The food is AMAZING. I recommend getting a reservation before arrival, but it's so worth the wait for some of the best prepared fresh fish from our great lakes! Very beautiful and romantic atmosphere on the water!
