Einstein Bros. Bagels

Everytime I try this place it's a problem. Smh. In the area so I wanted a lox bagel. 14.00! Ok, fine I get it after a brief wait. It's hardly no cream cheese on it, a literal swipe. I don't see the pictured capers or onions. I go back over and the guy is like they're underneath. Me:?? It's like 3 capers. My food is open in they tray and he continues making another customers order. Smh. I then assertively say please add the onions at least. Disappointed, I wasted my money I leave. The girl who made my order just stands there with an attitudinal expression. I get to the car to take a bite from the extra order: jalapeños cheddar bagel w veggie cream cheese. Boy was I disappointed. I couldn't make this up, more money wasted. I should have just went to THB. Save your money.

Their food is delicious! However the customer service at this location leaves much to be desired. I stood at the first cash register I saw waiting on 1 of the 2 employees that were there to acknowledge me, but they just continued doing what they were doing when I walked in. It took almost a minute before one finally told me to go down to the other register. No greeting first, just go. And both days that I went when my order was up, the employee simply called my name, then left the bag on the counter & walked away. No "Thanks for your order", "have a nice day", nothing.

Today after 3 years of absence because of Covid I had my Favorite Bagel with Locks and I was sooooo desapointed, the onion slices where from the bottom of the onion and way too thick, the capers all in one bunch buried in the pile of crean cheese. Just thrown together as fast as they can, the locks tasted as if they where very close to the expiration date. Just so disappointing. 😒😒😒

The 🥯 were delicious. Tried some new spicy versions (jalapeños). Just the right "kick"! The coffee, hazelnut/vanilla, my favorite, was lukewarm at best and not fresh. Disappointing, but fortunately I'd already had a cup at the Einstein's at GBMC. The dining room was closed but we didn't realize until we got our order and went to sit down. They need to put a sign on the main entrance indicating such and what in effect is carryout only. We had to eat in the car as it was too chilly outside.
