Really hate to leave a bad review but I have had enough.
Since the pandemic began service has been getting consistently slower. Taking in account staff shortages and increased take out demand I have been very patient thus far. Usually takes about 25-30 minutes on average.
However, after ending a 60 hour week and finding my house without food... I figured I would stop here for a quick bite. There were only about 6 cars ahead of me so I figured it wouldn't be too bad.
I was wrong.
I was also now trapped in the drive through with no way to get out. After timing start to finish I was waiting for 1 hour and 10 minutes for 3 items totaling $16.29.
1 hour and 10 minutes after pulling in I had my order.
No apology, no "thanks for waiting" absolutely NOTHING.
No sauce and no napkins either.
On top of that the portions were smaller and prices higher.
If you are going to have wait times that long at least put a sign communicating that, or change the drive through to allow exit.
I will not be coming back to this location and will be reaching out to corporate for a refund.

This place needs more employees, the service is ok so is the food. But the wait time is ridiculous. I sat in the drive thru for over 15 minutes not to count the extra 5 after ordering the food. The only reason I did not leave was because you can drive around once your in the drive thru.

As I describe in my original review of Taco Bell, this fast food chain still prevails for its ability to hand customers decent tacos and burritos within minutes. Asking if they made anything without cheese I was told yes, just order anything with no cheese, and they made two crunchy chicken tacos with no cheese as ordered. Two crunchy beef tacos with cheese were also made as ordered.

The drive-through line was huge here around 4:30 today. We ordered two Cravings Packs that come with four beef crunchy tacos and four 5 layer burritos with beef, beans, cheddar, sour cream and a cheddar cheese sauce according to the Taco Bell website description.
Online it said these packs were $10. apiece but at this franchise in Torrington, CT they were $11.99 each. Eating the burritos at home, we couldn't detect the cheddar cheese sauce. Some of the burritos had little to no sour cream, as well.
People usually want something different from turkey after Thanksgiving dinner and leftovers for a couple of days. Italian, Chinese and Mexican food all offer different cuisines for those wanting a change.
Taco Bell is what it is, inexpensive and simple fare that provides a quick easy fix for consumers who are in the mood for this food. For this reason, it provides a needed service.

As mentioned in the prior reviews DO NOT LEAVE HERE WITHOUT CHECKING YOUR ORDER. I specifically asked for an order without certain items due to a food allergy the woman at the window repeated it back 2 times and it was clearly written on the receipt, it was not her fault rather the person preparing the food who does not pay attention. Called shortly after we left advised a manager would call back which they did. Crystal the manager was professional, understanding and courteous she wanted to make things right by offering different options.

One thing I hate about this location is once you're in the drive thru you are stuck. Like tonight, I got in line around 615p. Didn't pay for my food until 45 MINUTES later. I would've left if there was any room to escape. When I got to the window I was hopeful. Nope. I paid and wait another 10 to 15 minutes for my food. I could've gone to a sit down. I wouldn't be so harsh but this isn't the first let down at this location. They're notoriously slow and always get your order wrong. Never again.

If there was an option for zero stars that would better suit. This was the absolute worst experience at any taco bell I have ever been to. I waited 35 minutes inside for my order only to watch the 1 person assigned to in store orders grab a cigarette and go on a smoke break with 5-6 other customers also waiting when I asked for my refund the manager who was in the back the whole time came out and gave me a hard time saying 35 minutes is nothing we have people who've been waiting longer....she was extremely rude and I strongly urge everyone thinking about ordering there to save yourself the torture of having to deal with the horrendous service and lack of customer service. I will never give this place my hard earned money

While in the bathroom I noticed a employee step away from urinal and walk out of the bathroom without washing hands. I asked for the manager but I was told she was too busy on the line to speak with me. The staff member I talked with ensured me that all staff are required to wash hands before gloving up and handling food. Although that is reassuring, it still shouldn't happen. Hands should be washed prior to leaving rest room.

This is the ONLY Taco Bell in a fairly large area (Waterbury, Thomaston, Bristol and Torrington) that is actually open and fully operational after midnight. Every single other location I've gone to, they close everything down early so they can leave at exactly 1pm. This location has nothing of limits as far as food goes, despite getting there at exactly 12:30AM. We ordered a lot of good simply because we hadn't eaten since significantly earlier that day... Oh and because we could!
The staff was super friendly! I honestly was shocked at how nice the young ladies working were, despite it being close to time for them to leave they didn't give us a hard time about what we ordered or anything else.
From now on, I intend to utilize only THIS specific Taco Bell.
