It was hubby’s idea to check out Philly’s Best. I’m not a Philly cheese steak fan, so I wasn’t excited about it. There was no greeting when we entered, and there were these handmade written signs throughout the place. “Uber pick up,” “Do not throw away trays,” etc.. they just took away from the professionalism of the restaurant. Hubby went ahead and ordered his Philly, and I went with a burger and fries since I’m not a fan of Philly. It was actually not bad. Good tasting burger and fries. Hubby seemed to have enjoyed his sandwich as well. What really grossed me out tho was the soda fountain. While getting a soda, I noticed how gross and disgusting it was. Not only just the drain but even the top of the fountain. It immediately was a turnoff, and I decided not to even get a soda. They need to do a better job at cleaning. Three people were working that day, two girls and a guy who looked like he was either the manager or owner. One could’ve walked around to clean the fountain and even the tables. Cleanliness is crucial for me, and for that, we will not be coming back. It makes me question their cleanliness for the rest of the restaurant.

Honestly this place used to be great, when I started coming in 2016. Slowly over the years the quality has gone down and price has gone up. Went in today and not only did they not give me napkins, had to go back for that, then noticed they failed to give utensils for cheesesteak fries, had to go on in again (ate outside) but they forgot to add onion to my Philly's best cheesesteak. Barely any streak and the bread was stale and hard at the end of the load. Nothing like what is advertised on Instagram. They also raised all their prices, sandwiches are $2 more, $11 up from 9, and the fries are $1 more too. Gave me a bad stomachache and my wife too, must not have been fresh. Doesn't taste quality like before. They should remove this franchise operator and get a new owner. Seriously disappointed

I have been getting Philliy s best for many years since the first one in fountain Valley. They opened one in Downey and also torrance but the food has gotten less and less and prices up .. the wait at the one in torrance is long and when you call ahead it don't do any good I went 20 minutes later and they started my order when I asked about it .. when I said I called it in 20 minutes ago they said well we just started our shift so I don't know what you did ..I just don't go as much as I used too anymore but the food is still good they just cut back on the amount and raised the prices ..

More like Phillys WORST. Coming back from Philly on a business trip and searching for an Authentic Cheesesteak back home in LA. Jeez... I dont even know where to begin.... Service was quick and friendly, that's about it. The Amoroso Roll was fresh which was very surprising. The meat didnt have any seasoning, the onions were cut way too large and not grilled long enough. The Wiz... was... atrocious.... If you're looking for an Authentic Cheesesteak save your time and money. Order from Jim's Cheesesteaks in South Philly and pay for the shipping. It's the best way to get the real deal!

I'm from Philly, so I know what an authentic cheese steak should taste like. I drove 14 miles. My sandwich was kinda skimpy. The little meat that I got on it just wasn't flavorful. I got more mushrooms & onions than meat, but I was happy that it was served on the original Italian Ammorosa rolls.

Came upon this place while out on some errands. It ended up making for a pretty great lunch! The sandwiches were filling and the service was quick.

Best Philly n menu...pricey...clean, no 100 bills taken ...still no RR, most opt for face diapers...I didn't.. traditional Phillycheese is awesome...my daughter likes same but with pepperoni...no inside seating yet, staff cut, owners were wondering it...some of the best fries around
