Blue Basil Asian Cuisine

I like the atmosphere, very cozy and clean. The staff are friendly and accomodating, especially the owner, very nice and attentive to the customers. And I love the food!!! So delicious and nutritious. They have numerous selection of tasty Asian cuisine which really satisfy your tongue and your tummy. I will keep coming back to this place.

Friendliest down to earth and attentive staff - food was really tasty and cheap! We were in the neighborhood and we like Vietnamese and Chinese food so we decided to give it a try, though when I hurriedly checked reviews on line I was dismayed to see that previous diners had found the staff to be racist. I was with two friends including a loud big Latino and we were worried. I have to say that our experience was the opposite - friendly attentive staff, big portions of tasty Chinese and Vietnamese food (a whole menu is devoted to this), with a smattering of Korean dishes like the yummy Korean BBQ ribs. Fresh coconuts were $3.95 and everything else was inexpensive too. They even gave us a complimentary tapioca pudding for dessert. We will be back!

The portions are great so you’re getting your money’s worth and the food is great. The problem I have is the service. We were rushed to order even though it was practically empty and the server was condescending when we asked a simple question about an item we thought was on the menu (it appeared on google but not the restaurant menu). “We don’t have that. We’re a Chinese restaurant.” Last part was unnecessary. The atmosphere overall felt unwelcoming.
