Black Angus Steakhouse - Torrance

Really good customer service, the girl that attended me and my family was very attentive and friendly, easy to order with her and suggested food from the menu since it was our first time . I think her name was Michelle but im not sure , light hair with color eyes , she has amazing customer service the best customer service actually . She made our visit smooth and comfortable . 10 stars for her !!!

6.5.22 - I ordered chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken sandwich was a bit on the dry side and lacked seasoning/ taste. Chicken breasts can be a but tricky to master, so I wasn't really surprised. The bun, bacon, cheese, and everything else about the sandwich was great. The fries were delicious. Prompt, professional service as well.

After 12 years of my last visit, I came in here looking for a great steak, at any price. I ordered the closest thing to a surf and turf: rib eye steak with some shrimp. Multiple times stressing that I like it rare. After a disappointing old fashioned cocktail, I got my meal. Besides a few lonely looking shrimp that seemed to hitchhike their way onto the plate, I got a decent steak. But not a great steak. Also it was definitely not rare. If I'm gonna leave behind $70 per person, I wanna be impressed about SOMETHING. At least the server was friendly. Will I ever come back?... probably not.

Went here for the second time and it was an experience worth writing a review for I guess. Service is good, waiter was nice enough, but I ordered the NY Strip medium rare and it was more medium than rare. I double checked with the waiter and asked what I ordered, in case he wrote down well done or something, and he said I did request medium rare. Told him the steak was overcooked and he just apologized, lol. I already ate half the steak at that point so I understand why he didn’t offer a new one, though. I don’t have beef (no pun intended) with the service, just the food. The center of the mashed potatoes was still firm enough for me to cut through with a knife and have a flush, solid cut, so apparently they didn’t reheat that for long enough. TLDR: Overcooked steak, undercooked (or under-reheated) mashed potatoes, grilled onions was the most delicious part.

FOOD TAKEN OFF PLATE IN MIDDLE OF MEAL. I ordered BBQ Ribs & Chicken and received a plate of chicken. I let my server know I got the wrong food, server was kind and said no problem we will make this right and bring out the rest of your food. Five minutes later server returns with a small plate in hand and asks me to remove a piece of chicken from my plate that I am eating from!!! Needless to say I did not finish my meal, it was ruined. I have never in my life had a server ask for food from my plate as I was eating. THIS IS TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT. After the conclusion of my meal I spoke with manager, Israel Castellanos, who just said “sorry what do you want me to do, I could give you $15 off your next visit.” No thank you. He

I was here for my niece’s birthday and the service was awesome. The waiters were very nice and professional. The restaurant itself looks nice and clean. The only reason why I gave this place three stars is because none of us cared for the food. They definitely could use a better cook in the kitchen. The food didn’t not have enough seasoning. I had salmon and you would think salmon couldn’t get messed up but it was not good. The prices are too high for food to come out with no seasoning. If you like bland food or have to eat bland food because of health reading, this is the place for you.
