Also ordered on a whim at 2 am. Got the nachos with pulled pork. It was great for being 2 am..did a door dash. And as u can see they have great presentation for the nachos . Kinda cold but edible most definitely. I want to go to this restaurant soon and eat their food hot off the grill. I bet it was great food.

Shrimp n grits at midnight tastes like heaven! Tonya took my order at midnight and prepared such a great meal - best shrimp n grits experience in my life. My husband ordered burger with fries: burger has the best juicy n wood smoke mix, fries are very fresh n crispy. We both had great time here.
The fact that they open till this late even on a Sunday night is because they want travelers to have a place to enjoy food while away from home instead of random fast food drive through is shining like 24k gold!

I called in a order that was supposed to take 20 minutes and it took a hour. So I asked if I could speak to a manager but the owner came. Instead of giving clarity on what took so long I was told that she had a lot of orders but while I waited in the establishment I only saw one other order that went out before my order. When she approached me she had a gentleman with her and it all was unnecessary. She was rude and unprofessional.

Let me start out by saying, this place has some potential. But they are going to have to get their act together. Good atmosphere and decent trash fries. That’s where the good stops.
Their water, which we use as a palate cleanser, tasted dirty. They really need a water filter.
The appetizer was decent but had either sat under a heat lamp for 30 mins or was in an oven for 10 mins. See the picture. The taste, if delivered in a timely manner, has potential. That was our favorite thing there.
My wife ordered the Sirloin Steak (medium) with sides of sweet potato fries and a side salad. First came her salad in a timely manner. It looked great and was very large, but the lettuce tasted unwashed. Everything was proportional, though extremely large. Sorry I forgot the picture for that. Her steak was charred so bad that the entire steak tasted like charcoal. It also came sliced, which drys out the meat and is a sign of a cook that doesn’t know how to cook a steak. I will say they removed that from the bill. The sweet potato fries were normal.
I ordered the Smash That burger. All I could taste was Parmesan. I couldn’t taste the meat, the onions, the pepper jack cheese, or bun. It was also sitting in its own juices which made the bottom burger bun soggy. They use a different fry for the regular fries than they use for the trash fries, pick a fry and stick with it. Why have crinkle cut just for the trash fries?
After getting home my gut was very angry with me. My stomach was very much in pain and required trips to the throne. I took two bites of the burger and ate half the trash fries.
There was also some sort of allergen in the air because we went through half a dozen napkins sneezing and trying to make our noses stop running.
The staff only come by your table when you flip a coaster table on the table but no one explained this and we sat for 10-15 minutes trying to get a drink refilled. Especially since one of our drinks were sitting on that coaster. Also why were there 5 people taking care of our table? One sat us. One took our order. One explained the coaster, after asking for a refill. Another checked up on our table whether or not our coaster was flipped, but failed to refill our drink. And another person delivered our food. That’s not team work that is lack of management and not letting a server do their job.
They said they got backed up, but more than half of their tables were empty. And then stated they were short handed up front and in back. How is that when there were at least 7 staff upfront for 9 tables, two 6 tops, 3 four tops, and 4 two tops. Really this comes down mismanagement. I don’t know who decided the way they handle tables but I’ve only seen this pulled off successfully at one restaurant, and you could tell they had TONS of experience there, but not at this place. Their waitress and waiters would be able to do their jobs if left alone and did the entire service. Again this is not the case here.
Also we both ordered tea and they ran out, I guess that means they couldn’t make anymore. The tea was replaced by a Dr. Pepper, but I didn’t want to drink pop. I definitely wasn’t going to drink their water.
Unless major things change I will not be going back to this restaurant and suggest you spare yourself the trip until these things are addressed. Hire a real cook, correct the personnel issues, clean your vents and air filters, and filter your water.
Servers were nice, just running around with heads cut off. I don’t know how you would keep servers with the way the ran things there.
It’s honestly hilarious that after my initial review, all the sudden there were a bunch of five star ratings. You can skew your numbers all you want it’s still garbage. But go ahead a go there, you’ll see, what I am saying is correct.

I had such a great time at this incredible local place I finally just visited. A must go to spot. The food.... oh my god.... the food... incredible. The cornbread... holy mother of Spanish greatness... the chicken... so tender and... good golly... the onion rings... well even good when cold if you can hold out long enough. Fresh made chili on the chili dogs... then there was a French fry thing somebody had... hell I don't know ... gonna try it next visit. Then there is the 45 taps of beer... ok... yes gonna go back

Whoa. Ordered to go on a whim and I was not disappointed! I got the Honey Curry Street Tacos and they were amazing! Huge portion, sweet, and a bit spicy. My dad had the chicken fried steak with corn and mashed potatoes. We could not stop pouring over the dishes with compliments. We will definitely be back!
