The pizza was "on point" and just the way we like it - a thinner crispy crust that maintains its integrity for the toppings. Calamari was cooked to perfection and the fries were golden, crispy and light. Wait staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cool, comfortable and clean. A good pick before heading home from the beach.
I moved to Toms River a year ago, my family and I stumbled upon this place. Everyone is so friendly and service is always good. This is now our go to Italian place. It is very very good. Whenever I call, they know my order because I order so frequently. Recently, I got food catered for 50 people. Everything was just so delicious! My guests were raving about it. We’ll definitely be continuing ordering from Sal’s. 100% recommend!

Kit had the Grandma Slice and I chose the Deep Dish withe sausage, pepperoni, bacon and diced tomatoes.
It was more of a white pizza with minimal or no sauce since I couldn't taste any. Guess the diced tomatoes replaced the sauce.
Both slices were delicious.
Kit enjoyed her slice because she could taste it here vs Pondrelli's who's crust and cheese did not allow the taste to come through.
If we do get to the last place, the decision to see who gets the Gold, Silver or Bronze will be announced.
Ordered the large pie and antipasto salad special. It was delicious! The pizza was great and the salad was a generous portion. Can't wait to try their dinners and calzones.
Our household orders or picks up food from here almost every other week and have never been disappointed. Shhhhugar we just picked up six different slices tonight because we couldn't decide on a pie and every slice was delicious... Would add photos but the food just disappears too fast!

One of the greatest pizzerias in town!!! Legendary! Plain, Grandma, Sicilian, and white pies are amazing. Some of the best in the area. Entrees are delicious as well. More than generous portions. Wonderful service & peaceful atmosphere. Owned/managed by kind hearted souls. Cooked & served with love.
I went according to other reviews, I drove and and mentioned to the guy that it was my 1st time there and I went in from other reviews. The pizza pue was AMAZING my kids and my husband were wowing it. So Thank-you and will see you soon.
You can't get a bad slice of pizza or daily sandwich. The pasta is excellent and the garlic knots are addictive. There's not a whole lot of atmosphere as it's just a pizza place but the staff are very nice and respectful.
It's basically a pizzaria with take out/delivery as its primary business. The pizzas are good. The service is quick and friendly. It's not the kind of restaurant to go for a sit down dining experience.
