Hands down one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Jersey. I’ve tried plenty, and this one has EXCELLENT fresh food. Not super greasy, all white meat chicken and not loaded with breading, and the staff is also very friendly!! If you’re looking to order take-out, this is the place!!!

Have always had a great experience with Chang Wang. From great food to quick, fresh delivery with reasonable pricing.
Ordered tonight for 2 people, close to same order as usual. approx. 40 bucks. Not tonight 70 bucks. Oh that included 8 dollar tip for less then 1 mile delivery. That's ok except food was luke warm at best. Way too greasy and unhealthy as well. Almost seems like under new mgmt. If anyone knows please let us know.
Anyway last time at CW. Food was better during pandemic!

I would like to rate the food but as seeing that that haven't bothered to deliver it I can't. Ordered 2 hours before I wanted it, and now its 20 minutes over due. I called and after being placed on hold for 5 minutes was just told my food is coming. Yes, and so is the 2nd coming of Christ which maybe sooner than my food.
Called again as my food is now 1/2 hour late. The girl was very patronizing. She said she check and hung up on me.
The food finally came and it was not worth waiting for. The soup and sushi were good but nothing special. The Teriyaki Chicken was like chewing jerky and had potatoes in it.

My family and I were on a getaway and stopped by this place. The place was really big inside. Also when we went, there was an event there. The food was really good. My family ordered a lot of sushi's and all of them were good, I am not sure wat they ordered though. Although, I do remember their dumpling, which was one of my favorite appetizers.

07/24/2021: Take-out again for dinner: Excellent. We go to Chang Wang for take-out almost every week. Their food quality is consistently excellent! Counter service ALWAYS friendly. 11/10/2019: UPDATE. Ordered take-out again today and last week too. Food at Chang Wang is consistently good! I am glad to live near this restaurant. Well Done!!! Thank you. ed...........10/06/2018: This must be at least my 12th take-out from Chang Wang. Finished dinner a while ago and EVERY dish was great. I think Chang Wang has got to be the best take-out in the Toms River area. We've tried others and its once & forget it. Great Job Chang Wang!
