Great, classic, Wisconsin supper club. But the real gem here is Penguin Fred’s Pizza! We sat at the bar, had a few drinks and enjoyed a really tasty pizza! Can’t go wrong with hot pizza and cold beer. You might want to consider doing the same if you’re in the area! 🍕🍻

I’ve been here a few times now and the food has been incredible each time. There’s a delicious little salad bar.
Saturday Prime Rib is juicy and tender.
Friday fish fry has a nice garlic flavor and is a huge serving.
I tried one of my aunt’s fried shrimp and they’re huge!
The fried pork chops seemed to be a cut off a porkloin which were thick and yummy!
Great little spot in the north woods, my whole family loved it.

Called ahead for a reservation. They let us know they were unfortunately not taking reservations that night and were very short handed waitstaff. We headed in anyway. We got there around 5:30 and got a table right away. The hostess let us know again they were very short handed and had 3 servers working as well as 3 large groups eating. We did have a bit of a wait at the table. But the hostess came and checked on us and found we hadn’t been greeted by a server. She grabbed an order pad and was our server for the evening. One of the bartenders also started helping wait tables as well. Overall we were there about 90 minutes. I’ve waited longer than that some places just for a table on a Saturday for prime rib. The food was fantastic and came out quite quickly after we ordered. Even being short handed the staff was in good moods and running quite well to keep things going! Even with some rude/impatient customers that couldn’t grasp the situation and that they were doing the best they could. Kudos to everyone working for a job well done under pressure and keeping things going!

This place has excellent food, the service is fast, and the staff is extremely accommodating. They've accommodated our last minute parties of eight on a busy Saturday night a couple of times now.
As a former server / host, I know that's an awfully big ask. Not only did they make it happen, they were gracious.
Also, this place has the best mushroom swiss burger my husband has ever had--seriously, he talks about it like it is a long-lost love. I'm pretty sure he loves this burger more than he loves me, but after tasting it... I get it.

Every time I am here, I sigh a big sigh of relief of being in Wisconsin again. It feels like the whole state is giving me a big hug every time I walk in the door. We liked the Brandy Old Fashioned so much, we got some of their mix to bring home.

The steaks were amazing as we're the drinks. A solid supper club experience. I think the lighting in the back room was a little dim and the rock and roll radio station wasn't great but the waitresses really made the experience solid. The prices were extremely reasonable. I'd go back.

If you enjoy Steak Sandwiches, you won't be disappointed! It was tender, delicious and cooked perfectly. Definitely was nice especially since this was a Birthday celebration!
