My first visit and it will be one of many I’m sure! The ambience was so elegant and the historybifnthe building very cool! The wait staff was on par and the food....was absolutely devine! Had the calamari and OMGosh...who knew molasses and chili oil paired so well! Tried the ostrich and it was every bit as tender as our server described! For dessert we had the cherry bread pudding. Again, much more than I expected and worth every dime spent! And the drinks were delish too! I went with a good friend and with exception to the main entree, our server asked if we wanted to share the portions and I felt that was extremely thoughtful of her to ask. Repeat customer no doubt...

I have been here twice and both times were a wonderful experience. Our waitress Meghan was very knowledgeable about which foods were vegetarian or GF. She made sure we had everything we needed and even some extras! She definitely made the dining experience special.
The food was wonderful from the home made potato chips to the strawberry sorbet. I would highly recommend Coldwater Cafe! Definitely worth our 2 hour drive to get there!
We had lunch. The place wasn't crowded. We sat at the bar side. The service was good, and quick. We ordered Chicken Tortilla soup. It was OK, little bit salty though. Also, we ordered Asian Salad. The portion was very big. It was very tasty. We would like to come back for dinner next time.

I took my wife here for a Dinner date for the first time, and we were very pleased with our experience! My wife got the salmon and I got the New York strip. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and my steak was so tender I used my butter knife to cut it up, and it was delicious. I usually add salt and pepper at the minimum to my steaks but this one was delicious as it was. The salads were also very good! Pricey, but the service, atmosphere and quality was worth it!
Amazing dinner! I went with a group of girls and we ordered the artichoke dip, salads and I ordered the green curry. The curry was amazing! A little bit of spice, very flavorful. Will be returning!
We ate dinner at the board room with colleagues. One of the best restaurants I have been to. You can just order anything here and they are all spectacular. Look forward to next visit and I know what I want to have. This time I had: Mussels (out of the world), Brie, Artichoke dip, Salmon and English Cake (heavenly). Don't remember the person who waited on us. He was a great help.
Rob took me to the airport so I may go back home to Ohio to see family and my Aunt took me to this place to eat at that her and her friends ate at, just two days earluer. She was so excited and I was like, ho hum. Ya know, its just dinner. I honestly dont know or cant find the right words ...I'm not sure which, but absolutely NOTHING on that menu is bad. The place was amazing, the people were informative, and the chief is sent from God. I've been back home now for over a week and STILL, I cant think of a time in my life where I have had food that was so full of flavor!! Ever!! Even food I dont like was amazing!! But these words seriously dont do it justice. I only wish I would have taken pictures of it to show you but the aroma was so incredible that I completely forgot and dug right in. And when I was done, I was full but it didn't hurt. Wasn't even uncomfortable. It was strange but welcomed and very much appreciated. Haha THIS is a definite must visit. You won't be disappointed. Everything there is handmade there. EVERYTHING! And there's another surprise, and I'm not going to spoil it for you, because if I knew before I went,.....I would have protested. Take my word for it, you'll never forget this place. It's my favorite place to eat at now. Cant wait for my next visit
P.S. We ate our dinner in the vault. This place used to be a bank. I posted the pictures.
Every meal ordered at the table was highly complimented. I got the steak and was definitely impressed. Everything is made fresh and the staff is courteous.
Fried Green Tomatoes was the best dish I have eaten in the last year. I can’t say enough good things about the food and the pastries. The carrot cake is the single best carrot cake my father had ate in his “whole Life!” The bill reflects the quality and use of local ingredients. Will return without a doubt!
I consider the dining experience at Coldwater cafe one of the best in the Miami Valley. I have lived in the Miami Valley for over40 years and consider this restaurant to be one of the best. The food, the ambiance, the service and the desserts are fabulous. I have tasted almost all of what they offer and have never had anything that wasn’t absolutely delicious.
