Maria's Carry-out

Maria's has had some of the best pizza EVER, for as long as I can remember! I used to come here all the time in high school but I know it was around long b4 that. And it's still around & STILL has some of the best pizza ever!!! Their sauce is so unique, almost has a sweet taste to it... it's excellent!!!

We ordered mozz sticks which was really good the only thing I didnt like was the marinara sauce because it was too sweet like a sugary sauce….we also had wings which I wasn’t a big fan of…the tasted okay but it was more of a dry rub than sauce which I didnt really like. This place is okay I may need to taste other menu items to decide if I like this place or not.

So disappointed… My mother and my husband shared their chicken parm this evening and they both became severely ill (Vomiting within the hour of eating it). My dad has been a loyal customer to this place so instead of notifying the health department, my dad chose to call Maria’s directly and let management know, so that they could look into it and hopefully prevent anyone else from getting sick. My dad spoke to Sheri and she immediately became defensive and denied that it could have been their food. My dad didn’t want any special treatment, he just wanted them to be aware, but he said it was not a good conversation and felt really disappointed in how this was handled. I’m hoping that by posting this, future customers can avoid possible food poisoning and lack of accountability from carry out restaurants such as this one. It’s easy to read a post like this and continue scrolling, but it’s difficult to turn the other cheek when you are watching your own family members in complete agony.
