Ol Buckaroo is a gem of the Sequoia National Park area. Inconspicuous from outside, will positively surprise you with stylish interior and beautiful patio with the view on the nearby river. Very nice service will offer you a decent size, well seasoned delicious food in a nice, laid-back atmosphere of the place. Highly recommend!
This is the greatest place! Adorable decor and even better food. The burger is to die for and the chicken sandwich was amazing! The service was also top notch! The food truck feel and seating was fantastic and thank you for the clean bathroom! Thank you for a great evening after the day at King's Canyon and Sequoia National Park!
We had dinner just before sunset and enjoyed a great view of the river. The outdoor seating offered plenty of space for us and the pup. We ordered the shrimp skewers, crispy chicken sando, and the Buckaroo Burger with bacon and avocado. The food was well portioned and delicious. Would recommend.
Outstanding cuisine in a charming setting. Fantastic vegan menu items - try the brussel sprouts - with local ingredients. The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and a drink with family and friends.
Great place to eat in Three Rivers. Definitely ask for the items that are not on the menu regularly. You get a steak or ribs. We had both of those and both were fantastic.
Love this place! It's right on the river with a very chill patio that has an excellent view. The food is delicious (especially the sweet chicken wings!) and the staff is very attentive. We brought our dogs and they brought a bowl of water without us asking. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
Cosy spot. We went for dinner after a day in SequoiaNP. Very kind staff, great food. I had a Ceasar salad with shrimp and my boyfriend had steak. Nice drink selection (original). Price was ok! We paid 64 dollars incl tax and 20% tip.
If you’re visiting Sequoia National Park and want to grab a bite to eat, look no further than the Buckaroo. We only spent one day & one night in the area, but visited twice - once for brunch and again for an early dinner.
The good: the food is excellent. If you sit outside in the back, it’s a great view of the river.
The bad: the service is pretty slow, so be prepared to wait 30-45 minutes for your meal. Credit to the servers as they’ll tell you about the long wait.
But even with the slow service, it’s worth coming here. For brunch we had the egg sandwich with potatoes and my partner got the chilaquiles. For dinner I got the fried chicken sandwich with waffle fries and she got an arugula salad.
