I will say the food we ordered was good. However the entire visit we were warding off several flies. It has a bar like atmosphere with dirty windows, dirty carpets, etc. So if you don't mind $20+ entrées in a dirty environment and waiting 30 min or so for the meal then you may enjoy it. Also they do not carry name brand soda pop so you have to settle for their "pirate pop".
The shrimp creole was very nice. It says "hot" on the menu and unless you are from the Deep South it would be considered hot. Kids menu was great and very fair price. The kids jumbo fried shrimp was enough feed a man. The pan fried walleye was very lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. We will be back soon.
Tasty salad & soup bar while enjoying the lake view
Pricey but worth it. Hard by the southern shore of Fisher Lake, this rustic tavern serves both vehicular and boat visitors.in a picturesque environment;you're liable to look up from your plate and see a blue heron wading by less than five feet away. The menu is extensive, with fish and seafood items being the most popular. We particularly recommend the lake perch.
There's a small, but decent salad bar and you can opt to dine inside or al fresco.
For a "rural" restaurant, the prices are a little steep, but the dining experience is worth it. Waitstaff is young, well-trained, and enthusiastic. Good for special occasions or entertaining out-of-town visitors, who are invariably impressed by this modest-looking establishment.
Wonderful food. They are very accomodating to gluten free dinners. Atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Servers know their menu very well. Highly recommend dining there.
It's rare I give a 5* review. These guys deserve it!
GREAT food, VERY friendly people, not pushy people and very kind.
Highly clean and warming atmosphere. The best place I've been and I've ate at places in 8 different states!
First time here, was a gorgeous evening! Our view was absolutely beautiful (see photo), we sat on the deck. We'd made reservations. Service was great, the waitress answered the questions we had and was knowledgeable about the food options. We ordered:
Sharables: Seared ahi tuna, Mesquite mushrooms, Mussels. Meals: Nutty Walley, Tuna Poke, Chicken and shrimp, Shrimp with crab stuffed ravioli (the special); Italian sausage and veggie soup. Dessert: carrot cake. I'd recommend 100% of it! Each one of us were "wowed!"
Def worth visiting and def going back!
We enjoyed our 30th Anniversary at Fisher Lake Inn. Our waitress (from Key West) was amazing! The drinks were great! The food was spectacular…everything from the beef lollipops appetizer to the crab ravioli and the filet mignon to the key lime pie and flourless chocolate cake. Hats off to the owner…and Happy Birthday to him as well!
Be prepared to drop some money here! The entrees are delicious and good portions though. The interior is kitchy and dated but the view of the lake is spectacular. Make reservations as it's not a large place and very popular. Our waitress was amazingly sweet and attentive. Had a great dinner with friends 10-8-21.
Comfortable, casual atmosphere. Beautiful lake view. Ribs were delicious. Alaskan crab legs were good, but not worth the cost. Another restaurant serves double the amount, uncracked, for $40 less! The shared dessert was yummy.
Lighting is pretty dim, but everything else was amazing! Food was on point(keep the chef happy)and the drinks were great. (Thanks Courtney!)
Highly recommended!
This was a great dining experience. We hopped in our Bronco and just drove and ended up at Fisher Lake Inn. The food was great, the drinks were strong. We sat on the patio overlooking the lake which made it even nicer. This may be my new favorite restaurant.
Food was great. We had a nice date there and enjoyed our time together.
The food and service were great. It's a little outdated but well worth overlooking
