The food was excellent. The trout was expertly prepared and the carrots were like eating candy. I also had the french fries which are hand cut and perfectly seasoned. The portion was so large I brought the rest home to be warm in my oven for another meal. Combined with an Old Fashioned made with Last Feather Rye followed by a cup of coffee the meal did not require dessert. I don't doubt the dessert would have been excellent also.

I ate at your place yesterday and had the hangar steak and potatoes and green beans and the bread pudding! The best food Obe had. The waitress was the best too!

Really like the place. First night in town I had the meatloaf and the pork rinds. Really enjoyed the whiskey screwball. Andrew the bartender was great. Super friendly answered all my questions.
Second night we had the Detroit meets Italy, pickles, and pretzel. I had a green tea spiced whiskey drink that tasted like pina colada, it was great. My fiance got one of their award winning cocktails, while it was very good she preferred mine.
The factory is a super cool building. It has lots of character and great vibes. They have a fire pit outside which I imagine will be very popular in the fall.
It's so so food, but it's a great cocktails menu here. Very creative cocktails, different high balls, and great gin. No beers here, only they own products. Huge long bar and plenty of seats. Huge backyard and a lot of seats as well. Grab some cigar order a few cocktails. Enjoy all this in the backyard and play mini golf on good weather days.
Great place to get some award winning whiskey, and their restaurant is very good. They also have rooms to rent for events. Three Oaks is a perfect village to walk down the sidewalk and visit all the shops.
1st time here. Huge portions! The Not A Cuban was fantastic. Great cocktail selection also.
Cool distillery with bar and restaurant. We sat at the bar and had a flight. Ordered food which was tasty and finished off with a 2 oz pour of bourbon to share. Very enjoyable stop if you are in the area of Three Oaks.
Sure love this place! We have enjoyed our time here since the very early days of Journeyman! Always friendly and professional! Our server, Elizabeth, was charming! Can’t resist the Classic Old Fashioned, Trout Spread and the oh, so tasty Detroit style pepperoni and sausage pizza! Crispy cheese crust is outstanding!
Pretty cool restaurant inside the distillery. They have several different types of old fashions you can try which I did. The original one has rye whiskey in it, which is something I really enjoy. I tried the tofu fried sandwich and both the vegetarian pizzas. Which were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.
There was a art and craft event happening and things were super busy! They were up to the task with great service and tasty food. The portabella cap was amazing!
Just off the main strip of sleepy Three Oaks, MI is a distillery and restaurant that has been there for many years. They offer tours and tastings, and has place for events like wedding reception. The main attraction, however, is the restaurant, which has solid cocktail menu, as one would expect, along with surprisingly excellent vegetarian items. This place is worth the drive from Chicago especially for a quick weekend trip with many lodging options at nearby New Buffalo.
Updated review for 2022: 4th visit, last time we order steak here. This round we asked for medium rare again and received raw. Floating in a pool of boring corn. The polenta was awesome, wanted a whole plate of just that. Our server was excellent, so was the charcuterie board- thank god we ordered that because we could only eat corners of the blue steak, could not get around the major silverskin either. But we were certainly made to pay for it, even after the new manager came over and we had no time for them to ‘throw it back on for a minute’. So upsetting- that plate passed in front of at least 3 people before it got to us. AND they cut it up first! No excuse for that. Stick with burgers if your guys don’t care the most expensive dish on your menu has no chance of arriving as ordered. P.S. the Hucklebuck drink is garbage, don’t do it. Order a classic old fashioned and do not deviate.

We've been here 3 times. The most recent experience was the best so far. It was a little busy for Tuesday at 8pm, but we got a perfect spot right at the bar. The old fashioned is lovely. We also ordered dinner- last time had a burger (which was great tho pretty sloppy) so we wanted to try the steak. Our medium rare came out medium well and the bartender was quick to replace it. The second one was perfect and tasty.
