Stopped by to try something new. Main menu panel did not have prices so I knew it was going to be quite pricey. Went on a Sunday, first snow of season and place was relatively empty. We ordered Queso Fundido, Sopes, two tacos each, al pastor and barbacoa, bottled soda and glass of agua de mango. Total was $50. Now for the food... Queso Fundido was fantastic!! Hands down best appetizer I've had in a really long time. Cheese and if I'm not mistaken some type of chorizo served with tortilla chips. The sopes looked and tasted great, meat could have used more seasoning but still tasted good. The barbacoa tacos were out of this world. Wish I had ordered 4, Al pastor tacos were well seasoned and tasty. Agua de mango was good. Very large glass and fresh. Overall it seemed expensive because the queso fundido was like $10 alone. We will definitely return and try other foods on their menu.

After reading all the great reviews we were anxious to try Taqueria. Very friendly staff. However, the food was very disappointing. The beef in the Macho Burrito was very dry with lots of gristle and not much flavor. The Quesadilla was way overcooked (burnt actually) and dried out. Maybe they were just having a bad day but very poor quality food, especially for how much we paid. Doubt that we will go back. Also, noticed that several of the 5-star reviews were written by Javier, one of the employees.

I ordered a steak burrito and it was almost 10 bucks. What I got was a bean burrito that had next to no meat at all. I was blown away on how expensive it was and had zero meat in it. The sauces really had no taste... disappointing to say the least. Taco Bell has triple the meat in a dollar taco then my $10 burrito. Strong hard pass. Will not go back.

Great experience at El Compita on 128th and Colorado next to United Chinese. We ordered a variety of street tacos and they were all delicious. The restaurant was clean and the gentleman that took our order was very personable. I will definitely be going back! Highly recommend!

Ordered smothered breakfast burrito. Disappointed. Menu stated green chili. This was more like a bland broth. The burrito guts were ok. Ordering online was easy. I might go back and try something else. But the stuff they call green chili was disappointing to say the least. Kinda pricy for what I got in my opinion. *Update* Changed my stars to one. I got very sick later that day and into the next. Take it how you will, but I won't be recommending this place.

I was disappointed with my experience. This was the 2nd time I've been there. I really want to like it especially since it is the closest Mexican restaurant ti my house. The first time I got a breakfast burrito. It was just OK. Nothing special. Tonight I wanted to try something different and got a carnitas burrito, 2 tacos, and a chile relleno. Burrito: I asked for no onion and I was asked if guacamole was OK because it had onion. I said yes, that's fine, but my burrito came full of onions and no guacamole. I carved around and ate about half the burrito. It had potential, but I just don't like raw onion and it was everywhere. For $11 I would have expected a bigger portion. Tacos: I got asada and one of the porks (don't remember). They were both OK. The presentation was nice, but the flavor was bland. Adding the green salsa and lime helped. Tacos were $2.50 each. Chile Relleno: It was just OK. I'm sure bringing it home didn't help, but I thought it was going to be soft since the description said soft and the server confirmed it was egg batter, but it seemed like it was deep fried. $5 and it was about 4 bites. Definitely worth the $. The server was very friendly, but my order took about 30 minutes. 2 people came in after me and both received their food before me. I think they forgot about me, but that seems hard since the place is so small and I was sitting at a table in front of the register. My wife called me and asked if I had gotten lost. On top of that, my food was just thrown into a bag and when I got home the bottom of the bag was full of green chile because the boxes were not set flat. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll give it another shot. I'll stick with El Azteca for my fast casual Mexican food. 5 minutes further away, but better food, cheaper prices, and usually much quicker.
