Finally a great diner! We just moved in Thornton area and I'm so happy we have a great establishment near us. This was our first time here and boy is it amazing. Servers are friendly and helpful and the food is so good. I got the Sharon omelette and bf got The Cowboy Papas. So so good and is a great portion size for the price. Their delicious jam is homemade as well. Will definitely be coming back to try out the other items on the menu.

Quite pleased overall with the place. The atmosphere and staff are quite chill and polite. The parking situation is the worst aspect, and completely outside of their control. The food is always very fresh and well presented. The diversity of their menu allows us to always find what we were looking for. I personally love their daily board, and it's never failed to deliver.

Huge and delicious green chili burrito! Fast service! Friendly staff. Lovely collection of ceramic chickens around the whole diner on high up shelves. Tip: If you sit at an indoor table by the windows on a sunny day the glare will cook you and you may even get sun burnt. Try sitting away from the windows on hot sunny days! They have screens but they do not block out the sun where you sit.

Doug’s was once our go-to breakfast spot when we first moved to Thornton. And If you’re looking for an extremely heavy and filling breakfast, Doug’s burrito with green chile is the cure for your disease. However, After a long time eating at Doug’s and ordering delivery / to-go from them, I have decided ultimately to stop until they change their to-go boxes. Seriously, the amount of styrofoam is truly unnecessary and they can do better. In my honest opinion, the food is worth 4+ stars, the service is always worth 5 stars (seriously the staff is so nice), and the to-go packaging is worth less than 0 stars. Take that how you will. If the to-go packaging changes, they will have our business a lot more frequently and this review will change to 5 stars.

First impressions are crucial. Upon walking in, this place is huge, plenty of seating and clean. Once seated I ordered a pepsi but they were out so I got coffee instead. Their menu has lots of fresh and innovative dishes. I ordered the huevos rancheros with green chile. When served it looked very appealing. Food quality wasn't bad but the beans were from a can, and so was the green chile. Their hash browns were bland but that didn't prevent me from wolffing it down. It was good not great. I did ❤ love the decor. They had chickens, hens and rooster ornaments hovering over on shelves throughout the restaurant. Maggie was a great host and server. The bald male server looked creepy walking around with shorts and an apron but I'd still recommend this place.

A little gem in a sea of chain restaurants. My husband, daughter and I have been here several times and the service is always great. Food is good and the wait is never too long even on busy weekends. The menu has a good amount of variety, portions are huge and coffee is what you might expect from a diner. I ordered a half plate of my breakfast order and ordered a cinnamon roll as well- both were delicious, but I should have known the cinnamon roll was enough to feed a family of 6 and definitely recommend ordering with the intent to share!

Excellent breakfast and lunch, brunch if you will, food. Huge kids menu, loved that. Although I didn't take a picture of it I will when I go back. Great prices and service. I didn't add the illusive 5th star only because my cup for my coffee was dirty, in which they graciously replaced right away.
