Authentic ambiance. The chips and salsa were slightly spicy but not over the top. Good start to a good meal. The amount of chicken in the quesadilla was impressive. Herrera's do not load up on cheese so had a fresher taste. Good food. Server was courteous.

Casa Herrera is one of those restaurants that no matter when you go you’ll still feel as if you are family. What are the best things for Casa Herrera is that it is to the state running by the Herrera family and it shows with how much they care about their customers. We were a party of six that came in we only had a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night which is really great because usually they have an hour wait. Everyone in a party was able to find something to eat including one of the people who was gluten-free. They do serve alcohol here, most of which comes in a huge serving.

Brought family that was visiting for their first time and they loved it! Couldn't stop eating the salsa, Mom loved her margarita. Insanely huge fish tacos were a hit, chimichanga was enormous, and my flautas were as great as always. Everyone had leftovers because of the awesome portions!

Came here on a Sunday night after it was suggested to me. Everything was just OK. The service was very very slow. we ordered the shrimp nachos and the chips were so salty it ruined the entire dish and made it hard to enjoy. I ordered the enchiladas and they were just OK, the sauce was good but the chicken was over cooked and overall the dish was pretty bland. Probably won’t be coming back here

Gone down hill, it used to be so good. Just last night yet another order where part of it was missing and part of it was wrong (no tortillas, no chips and the wrong tamales, no replacements offered). If it's not that they don't pick up the phone it's that they don't listen to the point it's been rude in the past. I've had them take orders when they're closing early with no warning and they're sealing the parking lot so there's no place to park, give us wrong orders more times than I can count, and paid for food I've never received too many times. The food quality, off the top of my head the beans and hot sauce have changed from the smooth refried to a chunky mess made of basically just whole beans and grease and the hot sauce to a cloudy, smoky liquid we don't use anymore. I hope there's a better Mexican restaurant close.

We frequently dine in and order take out here and most of our experiences are great. The staff is great. Sometimes it takes a couple calls to get through but that is just because they are busy. Sometimes with take out our sides are missing. I also heard they started charging for the chips and salsa at the table that were free for many years. That is why I didn’t give 5 stars. With the prices of the food the chips and salsa should be free. But the reason we keep coming back is the food is so good. As a cautious diner I always ordered burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and taco salads. But I have to say please try their mole sauce…on everything! It’s so delicious. The mole con pollo is comfort food on the next level. And tonight I tried the chiles rellenos. Stuffed fried poblanos with cheese and ground beef and red sauce. It was a Mexican stuffed pepper and it was AMAZING. I’m so glad I tried it. The chicken enchiladas with mole sauce are addictive. I’ve learned you can be safe and eat what you already know. But am so pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors when I try something new. I’m so glad to have this restaurant close by. It is authentic and delicious.

I enjoyed the food quite well. They were a little slow about waiting on everyone because they were swamped but it was ok and so worth the wait. The chicken flautas were so good as well as the rice and beans. The people were very pleasant.
