Food was cooked right. I had the steak and eggs. Steak tender enough to cut with butter knife which is good since I was not brought a steak knife. The hash browns were a cut up baked potatoes served on the plate not on an iron skillet but all in all nice experience
Excellent chicken salad sandwich, great fries, awesome peanut butter cake. Server was super nice, too! A great stop on a road trip through Thomasville!
Today my sister and I were downtown T-ville enjoying a great day and tried the fairly new restaurant, Chair City Tavern. The lunch menu was moderately priced, $7 to $20 on average. I requested an oyster PoBoy, and my mouth watered when they set it on the table. Sis had a grilled shrimp salad with warm bacon dressing. Our conversation totally stopped as we enjoyed a meal that reminded us of South Carolina's Lowcountry...
I hope you give it a try. It would be nice to keep a quality restaurant in town. Those who remember the former establishment, rest assure no comparison. The customer service was great, friendly, and attentive!
Excellent menu options. Good beer selection. Great food. Shrimp and grits was very good. Chicken and waffles can't really be done wrong, but is still one of my favorites. Everyone else at my table's food looked good as well. Attentive wait staff. A real treat in Thomasville where quality dining options are otherwise nil. Here's to hoping they have a better business plan than the restaurant that previously occupied the space.
Nice, clean atmosphere. Good service. Food was fresh and tasty. I had Peach, Horseradish grilled chicken, tomato pie and collards. Yum! Good portions meaning not too big. I'm not a truck driver. Good price. Will be back.
I went to the Mother's Day buffet and it was incredible! They had prime rib and it was the best I've had. The salmon and chicken were very fresh and flavorful. They had sticky toffee pudding as one of the desserts and it was really fresh and delicious!
