When the meal needs no bread, one knows she is in for a treat. Balanced and beautiful, the meals and drinks sang the song of true artistry. Inspiration. Thanks, Caleb, Josiah, and Elizabeth for the life treat.

Not a drive by! We had the mussels app, shrimp scampi, ramen and the white chocolate tort. All were outstanding. Mussels were tossed with a delicious tomato broth and cooked perfectly. So much flavor packed into all of the dishes. Pleasant atmosphere, craft cocktails available too. We will be back soon.

The chef here is wonderful. Staff is excellent and friendly. I like the decor, industrial but without a cold feel to it.
Small restaurant so you may want to make a reservation during the summer season.

Excellent place. Employees are all great, service is top notch. It can be slow when the place gets busy but that’s how life is. Food is some of the best in the area, and the drinks are the best in the area. Reminds me of some nice small plates restaurants in Portland.
Brunch is amazing, it looks like it’s usually one chef in the kitchen, and she rocks it. It’s delicious and comes outs promptly. Affordable mimosas, good coffee.
Dinner is really good too, a little pricey maybe for the area but imo it’s good value.
Nice decor. Owners are there a lot snd they seem nice. They play movies sometimes, which I enjoy.
Their bartender, Casey, is extremely knowledgeable and the best maker of cocktails in the area for sure.
All in all my favorite restaurant around.

You obviously know this place is awesome from the other reviews I just wanted to share these sweet pics I got. We were just here before Christmas on a little vacay. I never had sake this good let me tell ya. And the food was unexpectedly phenomenal. I got the chickie parm. Oh, and the bartender was a total darling. Didn’t get his name. Little guy, very nice hair. 10/10/10 food/drinks/staff. Oh yea and the bathroom was a whole nother vibe. There may or may not have been a speaker in there playing motivational speeches with meditative background music.

WOW! This place is everything I want it to be, it has the best ambience and vibe. The drinks and eats are constantly changing and evolving. The photos don’t give it enough justice. If you haven’t stopped in to grab a drink, please do! We live in Texas and this was a great place stop in while we were visiting Maine. We will definitely be back to visit.

It's not often that I come across a place that does so many things correctly. From the craft cocktails, to the delicious locally sourced food, The Block Saloon checks all the boxes for a wonderful dining experience. It's your next best place to frequent because the food and drink menu changes often. They're always crafting something enticingly special.
Plenty of parking, great space inside with attentive wait staff, and a great seasonal outdoor patio.

Came for Sunday brunch. The limited menu looked good and stressed brunch beverages over food. Service was friendly and engaged, bit of a wait for the food but it was worth it, the Bacon Egg & Cheese was to die for.

Beautiful little place in Thomaston. Their menu changes weekly so you taste buds will always be happy. The hours are little strange to me , but I just moved here so I'm not used to the town yet. I tried the Duck and it's awesome. Tender, medium rear and full of flavor. The dishes are simple but they are the correct portions.

Went tonight for the first time and it was amazing! Chef Andrew is killing it. Staff was so friendly, ambience was great (and rare for thomaston), food and drinks were delicious. A little pricey but well worth it and you leave happy and full! The chicken wings were our favorite. Crab was also so yummy!
