Off The Hook

I had seen this chain in Baton Rouge and in Houma and finally decided to stop while in Thibodaux and try it out. I wished I had stopped at the others, I was missing out. This is pretty tasty fast food and wished they had more locations. I definitely would stop again. The chicken, catfish, shrimp , hush puppies and beans and rice were great. Sorry I ate all my food before I got a picture.

I got the chicken and Sausage gumbo and the seafood gumbo Along with the fry fish and shrimp And bread pubbin Let start with the 2 gumbos both was very good had very good taste the only problem I have with them are not enough fixing As I had very small parts of chicken I say small I mean small and maybe 3 are 4 sausage what the sausage part wasn't bad they just had no chicken in the gumbo And move on to the seafood something had a very good taste just no fixing 4 are 5 small shrimp and that was it Now the fry shrimp and catfish Very good not over cooked at all and the French fries was very good Bread pubbin was to die for very good its a must get And very well priced for the amount of food you get I gave it 3½stars If it wasn't for the gumbo and the amount if fixing it would be 5 stars this is just my Honest opinion

The burger is great, even better than walk-ons if the right person is cooking it, but I wouldn't eat the burger in a car. You'll make a mess. They're wraps are good, I'll get both the grilled chicken and grilled shrimp wrap if eating in the car, ask for extra blackened ranch sauce on your wrap. It is unfortunate that they don't sell their sweet potato fries any longer, but I understand that they weren't getting many requests for it. Their swamp fries are good but the fries will likely be soggy by the time you make it home if you order Togo. The cheese burger, swamp fries, and a large tea cost me around $19 when I made my purchase, which is more than I was expecting to spend for a burger, fry, and a drink. Their bread pudding is good as well.

Always great food at off the hook! The food is always off the hook haha! The price could be better have to say they are a little expensive and my tables are very small hard to fit the trays that they give you with the food on it all these little tables. But the taste of the food makes up for everything. Best hush puppies you will ever have in your life! Love the seasoning on the food it's not too spicy but very tasteful which is great because you don't want your fried food to be too spicy to even taste the flavor. I always like the decor in the Off The Hook Restaurant it's very clean looking and modern. The wait staff is always very nice as well. We've been to several locations of this restaurant and have never been disappointed. I always recommend this restaurant to everyone and I will always go back to this restaurant rather than other local seafood restaurants
