Perfect place for breakfast. The bacon is exceptional. They offer coconut milk in addition to milk which was great with my oatmeal. Best place in town by far. Awesome breakfast, great burgers and wraps. Everything is good, great price. Cool atmosphere with an old high school gym hardwood logo in the floor. well run and always clean. Cant say enough, love it
Wish we could have stayed in town longer. With only time for lunch, we opted to dine in rather than get everything to go. My wife had the quesadillas and they were quite satisfying, too much for her to finish alone so I helped out. I opted for the chef salad and a cup of the green chili which was excellent and made me wish I'd ordered the full size bowl. We also got a side of the sweet potato tots which were very tasty and for dessert, we just couldn't pass up the bread pudding with whiskey sauce - so good!
Have to try this place. While visiting family discovered this gem of a place. I'll be the first to admit that Thermopolis doesn't have a lot of choices for lunch but with this place around you won't find that a problem.
The emphasis in on fresh ingredients. Be sure to try the homade salad dressings. Some of the best blue cheese and ranch I've ever tasted. The organic buffalo used is raised right outside of town. Go in seat yourself and prepare to enjoy.

Excellent breakfast! Service was super friendly. On our way from Dubois to South Dakota, this was a perfect place to fill up for our trip. I had a breakfast taco & American fries/potatoes & my husband had a breakfast burrito. I ordered one pancake & thought it would be a small pancake! My eyes were surprised when the waitress brought it & it was the size of the plate & almost an inch thick, and fluffy! I can never get my pancakes to do that ! 😂

Stopped in to eat here before heading into the state park. We had the absolute best service! All the workers were so friendly and helpful. Even the other customers were great (we had our wild little girl with us). The French toast was great and the smothered pork burrito was even better (loved the pork and the green chili sauce on top). And the chocolate malt was wonderful! Next time will have to try the cinnamon rolls too. Excellent stop!
A good, hearty breakfast spot in Thermopolis. We had pancakes, waffles, omelettes, sausage, bacon, biscuits with gravy in our six person group. Service was quick and food was tasty.
Enjoyed breakfast with the family. Service was quick and efficient with minimal chit chat. Meals came out fast. I liked the Lighter meals section for everyone, not just seniors. But that didn't stop me from polishing off the full order of Roundtop Huevos.

Outstanding Lunch
Today my family and I enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Black Bear. From the Bean soup to the Chicken quesadilla to Chicken Fried Steak it was all delicious
The service was top notch and extremely reasonable priced
Nice little cafe to get your breakfast. Friendly staff. Don’t hesitate to try it when you’re in Thermopolis.
