Husband and I love this place! We have been coming here a long time. Service is always great and the food delicious. We can definitely tell staff members care for their jobs and the hospitality the provide.
**just wish they would go back to the original verde sauce and salsa instead of the new flavor.
I am from LA and obviously, I eat Mexican food all the time! I gotta say though - this place was awesome. Food was delicious and the service great. I had the jalapeño steak and a couple Cilantro Margaritas on the rocks - everything delicious!! My friend ordered a sampler/platter that was absolutely amazing! Whenever I'm back in Houston, I'm coming back to this place!
One of my top 3 Tex Mex places in my area. They are family run and the food preparation is consistent. Have never had a disappointing experience there. Unfortunately they had to discontinue the free soft serve desert due to Covid/health concerns. Staff is always attentive and friendly.
Atmosphere of a bull fight when you get inside, go and you will understand. Food was fresh and delicious. I went for lunch the portion was so huge I doubt I will need to dinner!! Definitely recommend
My favorite place to go for the jalapeño chicken. The top-shelf margaritas are some of the best in the area. Recently branched out and tried their chicken wings which are surprisingly good. For the money, this is my go-to spot!
It was nice. The waiter was great! The lady up front to seem that friendly, but again, our waiter was great! The food was yummy 😋
I had the beef fajita enchiladas with Cilantro’s sauce. They were great. I wasn’t too sure about the Cilantro’s sauce because the waiter couldn’t tell me much about it besides “it’s good.”
Unfortunately, I couldn’t tell you much about it either besides it is actually pretty good. It’s a light sauce. It’s not too overpowering like a queso or other sauces found in most other Tex-Mex restaurants. I thought it complimented the enchiladas perfectly.
The beef was tender. The corn tortillas were easy enough to cut with my fork. The rice was well cooked and not a sign of being overcooked at all. The charro beans were also great. Similar to the Cilantro’s sauce, the broth wasn’t overwhelming and allowed you to enjoy the rest of the dish.
The service needs some improvement in terms of attentiveness. Flagging down the host for refills is generally something that I never should do.
GOOD MEXICAN FOOD AND GREAT PARTY ATMOSPHERE! Regardless of the time of day or night this place just seems like the party could begin at any moment . They have a great bar area with plenty of seating at the bar or choose a nearby table. The restaurant is spacious with high ceilings and a contemporary Mexican style. Expect to be seated quickly and your chips, salsa, and beverages to be delivered pronto. Very impressive to me that our meals were served within 5-10 minutes of ordering. The food was good with our lunch price at about $11 a person including our beverages.The service is very good by a friendly and efficient staff and the food is okay. A lot of canned cheese, chili, jalapenos, and other items brought the quality of the food down. Requested fresh, but it was not served.
