The food here was phenomenal. The entire family was raving by the time we were done. A bit more on the pricey side of things but well worth the little bit of extra money you'd spend because the quality was definitely worth it.
Now, I was definitely unused to the setup they have where you walk to the register to order and they deliver the food to your table, but it was easy to get into the swing of things once we knew. Everything was fresh and honestly there wasn't anything we could possibly complain about. Definitely on my recommended list if you're in the area, it's well worth it.
I absolutely loved my visit to Black Walnut! Other than having an extensive menu, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful and well decorated. It is casual dine in but with an elegant twist! (Order and seat yourself). The Birria Tacos were delicious!! I would have not imagined they were coated with so much flavor, and I would enjoy every last bite of them. This will definitely not be my last time coming here, and I’m so excited to try my next dish here! After our lunch, we did help ourselves to their gelato selection. It was delicious and hit just the spot. Family friendly, not so packed/crowded and very attentive customer service.
We visited the Black Walnut Cafe this weekend and loved it! The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. It’s also a child friendly restaurant. The pecan pie pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The serving was big and lasted for 2 other meals. The lobster and mahi tacos were also delicious! The best part was the Texas pecan coffee! We loved it so much we got bags of it to bring back home. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Texas!
I love how you order at the cashier, pick a table, and your food is brought to you. Our food came out really fast and was delicious. I recommend the ham and cheese omelette. For something so simple, I think it was the best tasting ham and cheese omelette I’ve ever had. Coffee was good and strong. They even had EV charging stations!
This place was one of the favorites from our trip. For a Sunday night, it was quite laid back and a relaxing dinner experience, even with our 2-year-old. We look forward to coming back.
Best place in the woodlands to go eat, in my opinion. My wife and I have been here plenty of times and have never been disappointed. The wings are the best!
Love it. Turkey burger was not dry and well seasoned. And the pumpkin caramel gelato was perfection. Manager was also super sweet and made sure every thing was great.
Great time & experience since this was my first visit. Extremely busy but service was really good. manager came to the bar where we were seated to check in on our service which was welcoming..
