Chicken Express

First of all the food is great but as I have read on other Chicken Express the smell when you walk in is bad. It's just the grease but I can't believe they don't have better ventilation. People were friendly and service was fine but had to take food and sit outside. It was hot but we could breathe. I don't know how the employee's stand it.

First time being back since they reopened and not a very pleasant experience. I get up to the window, they have no clue which order is mine and there are 3 kids standing around doing nothing. I'm told it'll take 6 minutes for my fish to be ready. 15 minutes later my order comes out. Unacceptable given I'm the only one at the restaurant waiting for food and you clearly have numerous employees who should be working rather than goofing off. I usually recommend food places in the colony since the food that comes from the restaurants in the area is generally better than other chains, but not this location.

$40 chicken tender dinner was spicy when ordered regular. Beware of fast food places with help wanted sign out front. And the wait was so long, three cars pulled out of line. They better get they act together there's other chicken places and a new just a 1/4 mile from Chicken Express that just opened with it's parking lot completely full.

I hate to give a bad review but it was just plain terrible. I always get chicken livers and I know I am going to have to wait bc the make them fresh but these did not taste fresh. I just had them last week from another location and they were hot, moist, tender and delicious. These were dry and chewy, almost like they had been reheated. The only reason they're getting to stars instead of one is bc the fried okra was on point and the service was courteous. The food at this location was yuck.

Visited this location on a Wednesday evening. Ordered a three piece combo. Received a plate of cold chicken that tasted old. Fries were almost white and looked like they needed several minutes more in the fryer. Fries tasted like old butter. A customer came in after me and asked for fresh chicken. He waited a little longer than I did and got his order to go. I didn't know I had to ask them to give me fresh food. Needless to say I will not come back to this location. It probably won't be around too much longer with the construction along Main and the crap they sell.

Chicken was decent but was told everything was in the box. It wasn't! I ordered an extra side and an extra roll to share the 7 piece with my little girl. Not too hard. I even asked if both items were in the box... I got home and was very disappointed that the items were missed. I called and got the typical answer, "Can you comeback and get them?" Oh sure, let me pack my 4 year old back up and drive 10 minutes back to your location after I specifically asked is the additional items were in the box. Then, to top it off, the gravy was like water. If you can't perform what your known for, stay closed!

Hate it food was cold, the only thing good was the ice in my drink. Talk to someone inside to replace food but was told i had to wait 10 min. Very bad place hopefully the real chicken express can look into this place. The gravy was water with white something, the corn i got was ice cube cold, the french frys were cold. I thought that all chicken express places, would at least taste or kind of be the same, but this place sucks. No help from people working there.

I will have to say tonight I left chicken express so upset. I love this fast food location due to being so close to home. When I got there my two orders were the exact same thing and the girl acted confused from the beginning. At the window she didn’t even bother to read back what I had ordered before paying. I waited 10 minutes to realized the food that was done was for the car infront that had pulled up. I continued to wait another 5 minutes to realized both orders were wrong. Let me just say they weren’t even busy the place was dead and there was only one car in front of me and one behind me. When I asked the girl for sauces specifically saying a couple of each she gave me just two. I had to pull up and wait once again for the rest of my order to be ready since she thought I had only said jalapeños for a side when I specifically said two sides of jalapeño POPPERS!!! How are jalapeños by itself even a side?! Haha she came back and gave me the rest of my order that was missing another 3 minutes later. And I will point out after everything she was giving me she always received a thank you not once did I received a welcome back from the beginning. I might be exaggerating but customer service was not what I usually get at this location, tonight I left without even wanting to eat and never wanting to come back.
