Fat Daddy's Fish Grill

Ate here 10/23/18 and glad I did. The fish was top notch and the shrimp was truly some of the best I ever had. I ordered hot wings on the side but the waitress informed me a few minutes later that all they had was boneless (not my preference), I accepted and they were good too. The waitress felt bad and didn't charge me for my drink which I thought was very fair. They have a tv hooked up to YouTube and can play anything by request; they were playing soul music videos and I thought that was cool. I really like this place and hope they do well.

Staff very friendly and up beat with a sense of urgency and a very pleasant sense of humor. This was my first visit to this establishment. I felt right at home instantly thanks to the staff. I placed a to go order that was served in a very timely manner. I ordered 4 shrimp and 2 fillets with fried okra. Not sure what kind of fish I ate just know it wasn't catfish. Food could use a little more flavor. Had the food been on point...5 stars for sure.

Had catfish,shrimp, onion rings, and coleslaw. Catfish and shrimp were cooked perfectly , but very bland tasting ( lacks seasoning). But iam aware not everyone likes it seasoned. Wait staff was quick, polite and did her job well. Food was out to us quickly and hot ( the way I like it). I just wished they would have the option of adding some different kinds of seasoning for the fish and shrimp .restaurant was clean and had nice atmosphere.

Hands down, one of the best little places that we have been! The waiter (Nick) was very courteous and professional, attentive and kind. The facility was immaculate, not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere, not even in the decor. The food itself was amazing and had a slight hint of spice that made it just right. Fresh and hot, absolutely NOT bland. For those who have said that, your taste buds are way off. We are from Longview, but will gladly make this our food stop on the way to Dallas!!
