Mccarthy's Irish Pub

Seriously underwhelmed. Great atmosphere but the food and service was lacking. Our waitress forgot about us. We ordered scotch eggs which our waitress asked if we would like them hot or cold. We requested cold which is the traditional way (having grown up in the UK). Our waitress then came back said the manager would not let us have them cold because it was unsafe. The eggs were over cooked and burned on the outside. Foliowed by fish and chips that had thick mushy batter. I was hoping to reconnect with “home” but disappointed.

Great place with Irish atmosphere but the food is the thing to wait for. Decent menu selection prepared amazingly well. Chicken pot pie and authentic Irish stew served with a big spoon are nirvana. Eaten with a Guinness means allow extra time as you won't want it to end. Kid friendly. Worth the trip if you are visiting Jupiter/Palm Beach.
