This spot never fails to impress. They have great food for affordable prices, there no long wait even when the spot is packed.

This is my absolute favorite place for Dan Dan noodles!!! I wouldn’t order dumplings through Postmates because I didn’t get the both orders pan fried as ordered. But overall I’m additive to the spicy wontons and the Dan Dan noodles.

This place is one of those rare finds that you want to keep a secret just because simplicity is it’s biggest charm. You will not find a single person photo-shooting their food, aside from me ... for this post. Ok, the food. The leek dumplings are abundantly filled to the point where you’re wondering how the dumpling skin didn’t burst open. The XLB are perfectly soupy. Not too little soup where you’re left with a doughful of about to chew, and not too much were the soup is drenching your chin. This place is definitely a mom and pop you want to support.

Happy Noodle is a small restaurant located on the corner of El Monte Ave and Lower Azusa Ave. It feels like the living room of someone's home because of the small dining area, carpeted floors, and poor lighting. It's not the best atmosphere but the food is pretty good and sometimes you just want to have a quick meal in a quiet place - this restaurant is just that. The prices are similar to other restaurants in the area. This place doesn't get many people so service is often very quick.

This could be my favourite restaurant ever...but there are 2 negative things about this restaurant. Let's start out with the Pros, the Spicy Fish 水煮鱼片 and the Spicy Wontons红油炒手 are delicious, especially the Spicy Wontons, I could not find another restaurant's wontons that could taste better than Happy Noodle's. The Spicy Fish is also delicious, in a spicy-lover's perspective, but the quantity of fish could be greater. But, not everything is all good. For example, the ceiling is too low, which makes the customer feel squished, and uncomfortable. Also, the rice can be improved. Normal rice would be white, as white rice is fresh. But here, the rice is a yellowish-brown color, which is NOT fresh. I would give the food 5 stars, atmosphere 2 stars, rice 2 stars, and the price is affordable.
