It was an amazing experience but do not go there with an empty stomach you will be disappointed and broke, LOL... not to say the food was anything but addictive, delicious, fresh, artful, and prepared by very talented chefs executed with perfection... the downside is us Americans can suck down any dish they serve in secondsu

The curry here is wonderful. Flavorful but understated, it makes their curry katsu worth the drive. The gyoza, karaage, and korokke are also excellent. Their teriyaki is bold but not too sweet, just enough to get the point across. Get any of these and you'll be happy with your choice.

The food is always immaculate, the staff more than kind and caring, and very accommodating of our large order of cold soba noodles at one time 😆
I would recommend them 12/10, it's a go-to for me and my husband and we haven't been disappointed by anything yet. Everything from the tea, gyoza, ramen, izakaya menu, and general vibes are great. Authentic flavors, and something for everyone to enjoy. As noted, the cold soba is a favorite, and if you go in summertime, you must try the Hiyashi Chuka (Cold Ramen). Their normal ramen (especially the curry ramen) is also fantastic. You really can't go wrong.

The ambiance is perfect for a relaxing evening, making it a top-notch destination for a memorable dining experience. The grilled beef tongue is an absolute delight. The meat was incredibly tender and bursting with flavor. It's a must-try dish. Will come again!

First time having lunch here with the Hubby. It's a relatively small establishment tucked away in a small plaza. Clean, good atmosphere, the music was great. We had Sho yu ramen, katsudon and gyoza. It was very good. The service was impeccable, very attentive, the lady inquired if it was our first time there, and she thanked us for coming in. The food was prepared wonderfully, tasted fantastic. We saw a table next to us getting a plate of sashimi which looked incredible. We will definitely be back. Well worth the drive from the west valley.

I heard that Dozo was good, but hadn't made it by until recently and I'm a little upset that I hadn't dropped in sooner.
Fantastic sushi. Probably the best I've had in the 10 years I've been in AZ. Pretty diverse menu. I had nigiri, then curry, and tried the beef tongue. All was delicious. My wife had her favorite sushi... the Spicy Tuna roll and said it's the best one she's ever had. So she ordered two more. We both waddled out very full and very happy.
Oh, and the service was awesome. Super nice, super helpful. We really liked the staff. Excellent service.
Atmosphere is a little laid back. They said it's styled after Japanese cafes where people drop in after work.
We will go back. In fact we're both eager to.

I always love coming here. Great atmosphere, great food! The people who run it seem like genuinely nice people.
It always upsets me to see the next door restaurant so busy when these people have such a good product and service!

Enjoyed the warm simple dinner in this clean upscale restaurant. We liked the Miso and Tonkatsu Ramen Noodle Soups. Both were on target and flavorful with delicious chewy noodles although a bit salty. Edamame was fresh and steamy hot. Many other diners enjoyed eating on the shady early evening patio. Dinner here is priced fairly and they offered us an early happy hour pricing menu on a Saturday.
