Scarcella's Pizzeria & Grill

Unfortunately I can only give 1 stars from our last visit. We liked this place but hadn't been back in awhile so thought we'd go back. The pizza crust was not good. It was dry and flavorless. The Alfredo pizza sauce had very little flavor and was a very thin layer. We sat outside and there was a large party. They were getting out of hand. Really loud and obnoxious. Cussing all over the place. Management didn't do anything about it. We had to leave it was so bad. It ruined our nice quiet night out celebrating my husband's birthday. There are so many pizza places to go in Temecula. We like to frequent the local restaurants over the chains but unfortunately this will be the last time we will be going here.

My boyfriend and I came here on a whim after deciding against Olive Garden for our date night dinner, and boy am I glad. The atmosphere is wonderful, service friendly, and the food is beyond words. I tried four different items on the menu, all of which were no shy of amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone. Absolutely will be coming here again.

This place was a favorite before they unexpectedly closed at their old location leaving us without what we felt was the best Italian in the area. Upon being alerted to their re-opening in smaller digs at 41653 Margarita Rd., we visited last evening. What a pleasant surprise!! The food was even better than before and the location, although a bit hard to see from any main thoroughfare, is quiet , quaint and comfortable. It's definitely worth the search. Seek out this cozy little neighborhood Italian jewel and you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks Lily and welcome back.

I'll try to be brief. But bottom line, you won't be disappointed. The service here is very attentive and courteous. I don't think my iced tea glass was ever empty. All of our food was served hot, and everything looked to have been freshly prepared. If you're anywhere near Temecula I would urge you to give Scarcella's a try.

NO STARS!!!!!!!!! I feel this place completely stole my money!!!! I ordered a shrimp and scallop paste dish, which i had delivered to my home. When i open the container, i didn't`t see any seafood at first, so i called back to Scarcella`s and informed them i didn't`t get any seafood. While on the phone with a young lady, i found the seafood in the middle and bottom of the dish. I then asked her what is a normal portion of seafood, since i was given 5 shrimps the size of a quarters and 2 scallops the size of dimes, which i payed over 16.00 dollars for this dish, plus a 5 dollar tip. The young lady was very nice, but she didn't`t know, so she asked the manager on duty, on the 3 questions i had, which i only got one answer and the manger never would come to the phone. The young lady said sorry to me and i replied, its not your fault. I went in to this Scarcella`s a day later to speak to a manager, which i did and inform her what i was bothered by. She informed me, that she would look into it, but not that day cause it was her busy day. I waited 2 days, but didn't`t hear anything from her, so i went back to Scarcella`s and spoke to the same female manager, which she informed me, she had not spoke to the other manager on duty when i ordered my food. I asked her over 6 times, what is a normal portion for 16.00 dollars, is 2 scallops the size of dimes is a normal portion and would she pay 16.00 dollars for what they gave me!! She didn't`t answer and it was clear, she was not going to do anything about it and her actions proved she didn't`t care!!!!!!!!!!! i guess i have to give a star for this to post!!!
