The Post Restaurant is a great place to eat. My friend & I had a large loaded pizza. My friend checked out the beer variety. This bldg was originally a Federal Post Office. It still has the teller bars in windows behind the seats. Still has the giant safe or vault they now use for storage of liquor. A must see in Tell City.

The gentleman that took our order was rude. However, the five star is for the food. What kind of ranch do y’all use? It was amazing. Food was awesome and the lady that we paid was a sweetheart.

I would love to rate this a 5 star place, because the food is pretty good, the setting is nice, the lighting is okay, the prices are fair, and the drinks are good. But the atmosphere here is just not good. You don't feel welcome and you don't get much interaction.

Let's start with the building...It's a really old post office. Think gold bullion and payrolls moving thru here. Beautiful woodwork!
Now for the food...Delicious! We all tried something different. Lots of pasta and salads on the menu among other things. The chicken Parmigiano with a breadstick was a hit; the Pounder is a double cheeseburger that disappeared quickly; and my dinner was the Tell City fish tacos with grilled Tilapia. Yum!
We started with fried pickles. Instead of the usual ranch dressing, they serve them with a side of creamy horseradish. 😋 Try it! The horseradish gives it a tiny bite without being as salty as ranch is.
Dine in to enjoy the ambience or join the locals in carryout. This seems to be a popular spot with good service and food. We will definitely be back.

The Post in Tell city, Indiana is so delicious! Worth the drive from Jeffersonville, Indiana. Spaghetti and meatballs homemade as the ravioli. Has variety of menu selections. Used to be a old post office! Great staff, food and handicap accessibility!

Great food and big portions. And cheap prices. I'll be back next time I'm in Tell City.

We arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately. Around 6:00 the tables were full and the hostess was quoting a wait of about 15 minutes. We ordered the fried pickles, chicken parmesan, and tenderloin sandwich. I would forego the pickles. I found them to be quite greasy. The chicken parmesan was tasty and a very large portion. I didn't taste the tenderloin, but my guest gave it great reviews.

Great spinach artichoke dip. The portions were quite large and the chicken parm was very good. Service was good too. The value was great. Very well priced indeed!
