Red House Bbq

This was an amazing barbecue experience! The brisket was tender and juicy and the ribs fell right off the bone! The chili was deliciously spicy and the house sauces added just the right kick of flavor. This restaurant decor hails back to pioneer days and has several memorials for veterans. There is even an indoor water feature! All of this adds up to an authentic American barbecue experience that is worth the wait!

BBQ can be so hit or miss. This place was a huge hit. We had a chicken plate, pulled pork plate and frybread. The portions were decent sized and the meats were deliciously tender. I wasn't too fond of the baked beans but the red cabbage slaw was ridiculously good. I could have eaten another container of it myself. We got a couple kinds of sauce, one of which was pretty spicy but they tasted good. We called our order in and it was waiting for us.

Incredibly disorganized. I’ve never seen staff at a barbecue restaurant so flustered. They’re usually the most nonchalant in the business. I do not like places where you have to order in line then find a seat. That should be reserved for fast food places. Waited in line over 20 min to get informed it’ll take 40 min for my food but overheard the person in front being told they would push their order to the front of the line. If I knew people were getting special treatment and I would have to wait so long to get my food then I would’ve went somewhere else. Tables aren’t cleaned off well. They just pick up the food and call it good. Never saw anyone wipe a table down. You’ll have to shoo flies off your food while you eat Not any cell service inside I waited an hour for the driest brisket on earth that required bbq sauce to be able to consume. I’m glad I don’t live here, because if this was the best bbq option I’d become a vegetarian. Mac and cheese was cold. The okra was good and portion sizes were also.

If you're driving down the 58 freeway. Go ahead and pull over at the red house barbecue. You won't regret it! It's delicious! I had, their sausages and barbecue ribs. They were finger licking!😋 my husband had to try tip sandwich and he finished it all!! They have a nice little backyard patio. Where you could also sit down and enjoy the fresh air.
