Lakeshore Grill

The restaurant was about a third or at most half full when we arrived. It looked like there were at least three waitresses working. But we waited at the front for over five minutes before anyone came up to seat us, and the service was surprisingly slow the entire time. The food was pretty good, although the hummus platter appetizer is pretty overpriced for a small cup of hummus and four wedges of pita bread. Overall this location was kind of a letdown after our previous visit to the Novi location.

Horrible experience! Our waitress didn’t write down our order and screwed up everything. She was extremely rude. My son ordered the cod dinner and Patrick the cook burned it badly I sent it back. Another waitress brought out the recooked cod dinner and it was burned again and it was unacceptable for anyone to eat let alone a child. I asked for the manager, I was told there was not a manager on duty that the cook Patrick would be the highest person in charge. We told Patrick the cook that we were highly dissatisfied! Beginning with the rude waitress to the nat on our food, to the mixed up order then burned fish dinner twice. Patrick was extremely rude and unapologetic and as I was speaking to him he grabbed my hand. I was appalled and will never go back. I called the next day to speak to the manager. She was a tad apologetic and said she would have a talk to both the waitress and the cook Patrick.

If you can find the restaurant in this 272,000 square foot, archaic department store straight out of the 70’s, you’ll be in for a treat. Everything is original from the 70’s, including the waitress we had. Food was good, although I don’t know why anyone would go way out of their way to get anything besides the Maurice salad and DELICIOUS rolls.

This damn store is the closets and I have to walk everywhere or I would go to one in Canton. The machines never work. The guest service is always closed the store manager is ridiculously rude. Don't go on Saturdays they are taking signs down changing for new sale. You are clueless as to what you originally marked all new prices and sales are up before midnight but they don't honor them. I can afford to go to a store that at 12pm no sales count on Saterdays until 6am Sunday!!! Now what the he'll is that!!!!

Tried to order 2 Carryout dinners at 6:59 pm as Official website said they close at 8pm. Lady answering phone said Hello impatiently, didn't identify Lakeshore Rest. Or her name & rudely told me No..they close at 7:00. My family has eaten here longer than I can remember & Never have I received such rude treatment. Very disappointing.
