Bierkeller Tavern And Eatery

This was my favorite restaurant for years but lately the service and quality of food has gone down. I ordered shrimp tacos and there was more coleslaw and tortilla than shrimp. Two shrimp in each taco is not enough. I had to ask for more and was told I had to pay extra which I did. I excepted better they used to be great!

Was looking for a place to take a friend for her birthday. She has a German background so I thought this place would be up her alley. They did not disappoint! We walked in and waited just a minute before they told us to have a Seat anywhere and the place was relatively empty. Well we must’ve been leading the crowd because the door never stop swinging once we came in. We were greeted by Tara who let us know they were menus on the table and whenever we were ready to order she was ready to take it. Quick service friendly atmosphere and wonderful food. I had oma’s veal schnitzel which was excellent with Spaetzl. My friend had the fish tacos blackened style. Those were out of this world. We started with though Praprakash soup which we couldn’t figure out what the taste was, but we both knew we liked it. Prices were fair. Neither of us are big drinkers but everybody seem to enjoy the beverages. All I can say is We will be back!

First time diner in Feb 2022. Unique interior and atmosphere. Hostess Lisa was outstanding! Explained everything on menu in detail and offered some recommendations based on our input. Mixed drinks were excellent including Moscow Mule. Food was very good, arrived hot, and tasted excellent. Lisa was very available and checked with us multiple times to ensure our experience was enjoyable. We will be back and hopefully sit in Lisa's section - than you Bierkeller Team!

I wanted to love this place. I ordered schnitzel to go during the recent snow storm. The chicken was tasty, but dry. Which might have been fine except they forgot the gravy. I had to ask for my sides twice while on the phone. The fries were tasty, but not the garlic pepper fries I'd ordered. The places was pretty busy for the middle of a snow storm, so they must be doing something right. I will try again if I get back to Taylor in the future.

Stopped here for dinner on 1/30/22. The atmosphere was great, drink selection was great and the menu had a good selection too. The reuben egg rolls were awesome. The downside was that our waitress had 2 inch long nails (they were fake and this is not an exaggeration on how long they were). She brought out a bowl of chili and said it was the last of the pot. She said it was kind of burned and told my friend to taste it and if it was not good, then she would bring out a new bowl. She didn't seem to care much that we were there and we had to get her attention when we wanted to order or wanted another drink or wanted our bill.
