Pete's Place

Attentive staff, and no shortage either. If they were short staffed, you couldn't tell. Food was hot and relatively quick for a Saturday afternoon. Waitress was attentive, drink refills came without having to ask, as soon as we were almost done with one course, the next was brought without feeling rushed or delayed. Staff worked seamlessly to clear tables and prepare for the next guests.

The Mac and Cheese here is to die for! The outside is baked to perfection while the inside is made with a cheese sauce that tastes like heaven on earth. If their Mac and cheese is this good it gives me no doubt that the rest of their food is equally delicious! I definitely recommend this place to anyone. The waitress was also incredibly nice to us and everything was clean when we got there!

I will give Pete's another chance, some day. For some reason I got bad luck when it comes to food. My co worker took me here for lunch today and said that he has never had a bad meal there, But of coarse I got a bad meal. The burger I ordered was supposed to come with onion rings and it didn't. I ordered my burger medium and it came well done and very tough. I know there's a shortage of staff and I try to give the benefit of the doubt but the waitress did not inquire about our meals ounce.. I was hungry so I ate it and I will return when im back in the area and hope for a better experience. The food on the menu looked freaking amazing.

I've been coming here since the 90s and normally enjoyed the food and service. A friend of mine had never been so we went there Sunday February 20, 2022 for an early dinner. Well the whole experience was TOTALLY unacceptable and left me so embarrassed that I had even brought someone there. First off I ordered the sirloin steak medium well with baked potato, grilled mushrooms, soup and salad. I had it there last month and it was so delicious. After twenty minutes of waiting and no soup or salad served I asked an other waitress to ask my server. Five minutes later she brings the soup but the wrong one and 5 minutes later I get the salad. It took a other 20 minutes or so to get my steak. When she put the steak on the table I was appalled. It was so overcooked and beyond well done...it was a dried up piece of meat! No grilled mushrooms, no steak knife to cut it with, no sour cream for my potato and my friend wasn't given the potato chips with the sandwich! Finally I had enough and asked to speak to the manager. She replaced the steak with one not much better and well the amount of grilled mushrooms which I paid over $2 extra was laughable! Problem is she just replaced the steak not the potato which had already gotten cold waiting for my new steak. I ate a few bites of tough steak and said that's it! After all that I went through I would have at least thought the manager would maybe discount my meal for all the problems but NO! I paid full price and left hungry! They had enough wait staff so that wasn't an issue! Also per the waitress they didn't have mashed potatoes or the roasted potatoes because they were out of potatoes yet I got a baked potato? Hmmm...makes no sense! Needless to say they lost a devoted customer!

I threw my mother-in-law a surprise 80th birthday party at Pete's Place and was highly impressed with everything! They set up the room very nicely and Laila, the waitress who was in the room with us, made it so I only had to focus on my guests and nothing else! The food was amazing and price was even better! I appreciate everything Pete's Place did to make this a memorable event! 💜
