Really fun atmosphere but also laid back. Had the best waiter potentially ever, good food, and extremely fast.
The place is very quaint. It has the Irish atmosphere. The server was very attentive. She served our dishes as they were ready. The food tasted great. Some of our party even ordered a desert.
Great food finally. Joel was wonderful and very helpful in choosing our dinner selections. Great date night out. Thank you Joel. 👍
Always a favorite for a late night dinner after work.
Update:. Still a great place to eat downtown. Would give 5 stars except we would love to eat outside more but there is always several smokers, especially by the entrance door. I'd like to see that changes a bit to accommodate both smokers and non smokers. Other than that, never a bad dish or server.
Great food, awesome crew & chill atmosphere. Greatest Fish & Chips in Tavares and surrounding areas 💯
My husband and I really like this place. We sat outside it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. I had bangers and mash excellent
My husband had Shepard's pie he liked it but said need a little more seasoning. Well be back
Oh yes the potato soup was delicious
Dark and cozy oasis from the bright sun in lakeside Tavares! Ample seating inside and out. Fascinating decor! The bar is tucked way in the back - the walk is worth it! Great, expansive menu. Impressive beer selection on tap. Our bartender was awesome! Friendly and efficient service! Steak fries were delicious as was the burger! I will be back! Highly recommended!
Great food and cold Guinness.
Fantastic staff.
Took a star away based on prices only.
Food prices are much higher than competion in the area.
We checked reviews and chose O'Keefe's. Good for us! The restaurant itself has a view of the water and if you sit outside on the patio it really is a very pretty view. Inside, you find yourself in an Irish Pub. It has a bar area and a dining area, so yes you can bring the family. Lighting was dim but it was very inviting. It does have a handicap entrance and parking close by but once inside it's a little tight for wheelchairs.
The food. We ordered mostly bar food. My husband got the French onion soup and it was excellent. He also ordered chicken wings and they were good. My grandson order the BLT and it also was very good. I'm a vegetarian and so I had to modify a sandwich which was cheese, lettuce and tomato on toast. They got it right. We also ordered a side of onion rings which were excellent. Our waiter was pleasant, very efficient and quick. We had a very nice meal in a nice atmosphere. We will bother to go there again.
A locally owned gem. Plenty of parking if there is no event nearby. I had swordfish in a lemon butter sauce which melted in my mouth. A bit disappointed that I couldn’t get a black and tan due to the lack of Guinness in the states again.
